For the month of October the Queen will get decorated like a "Shipwreck"....."It will scare the ship out of you". They are planning a maze that you walk through and provide a scary experience. Looks like fun for those of you who love Haunted Houses and Ships.
Their hotel cabins seem to be sold out for Halloween week-end.
Hey Showcat...... since you want to go on the ghost hunting tour this will be a fun evening for you. They plan to have a evening dance too on Oct.28th, the night before we leave on the C. Pride for Halloween Singles cruise.
Thanks Angelgirl, I am looking forward to going to the store that has memoribilia of the Classic Ocean Liners, maybe I will find a good book to read on the Pride while on deck, or on the plane ride home. Let me know if you are going to be on her Saturday if so you can call my cell phone so we can meet up.

I have stayed overnight on the Queen Mary, and it was such fun. They had a tour through the ship with a guide who told all the ghost stories. And I think part of the original "Poseidon Adventure"--the one with Gene Hackman and Shelly Winters-- was filmed onboard. There are also lots of photographs of famous people who sailed on this beautiful old ship. If you get anywhere near Long Beach, don't miss the chance to go onboard.
This past May I have stayed on the Queen Mary before my cruise on the Pride and it's an interesting ship, the rooms are very nice and it's even big enough to throw a small convention on the ship. The "Last Comic Standing" show stayed on the ship last year I believe.
If you are staying there use the restuarant it has a good view of Long Beach. I have looked at the photos on the ship alot of history you can see.
