Default I'm 50 -- is this for me? Or typically a younger crowd?

Hi - I'm new to this site and new to considering a singles cruise. I'm an attractive 50 year-old professional female. What's realistic for me to expect in terms of meeting fun and interesting men 45-60? Thanks!

If you go on organized "singles cruise" I think you'll find the majority of fellow passengers in the group will be closer to your age range, than the young 20 somethings you may suspect.

I agree with Kuki. The 20s-30's crowds will usually be found on shorter cruises, especially on Carnival. And be sure to check Cruisemates Singles Calendar. There are several organized cruises scheduled for the "more mature" cruiser.

Hey Judith, you are not old. There were some handsome 50 yr.old guys on my last cruise Halloween, Carnival Pride. They acted like they were 19yrs.old. One guy was dancing on a table top at dinner time. I danced with the head waiter while music was being played at dinner-time. I am 55- yrs old. I don't let my age get in the way of having fun.
Some gal said I should act my age behind my back. I thought that was funny because it is nobody's business on how I should act because I just love to have fun and act silly on a cruise with all of my cruising friends. Angel gal

Judith,
Just saw your post. Thought I'd reply.I've had 3 compatible lady cruisemates on prior cruises, ALL were younger than you. It was strictly platonic. Enjoyed shore trips, dining and companionship. I have booked a 10 day Scandinaian Cruise, 8/30/07-0/0/07. Should be the cruise of a lifetime. This will be my 10th cruise. I live in Florida, active retired Realtor, 68 years young. Should you have an interest, please reply. Your share of cruise cost, $1,000, less than half total dble occupancy cost of $2,200

Merry Christmas,
Cruisinbill

Hey Judy, you will have more fun on any singles cruise because all cruises atrract all ages. That will be better for you than to take an offer from a stranger who wants to spend 10 days without even knowing you. I know you are not desperate. Angel gal

I'm a WM 54 going on a singles cruise May 13-20 aboard Carnival Valor out of Miami. I have booked with the singles supplement but that can be changed later. This is a hosted cruise through V T G and from what I have heard these are really focused toward the "single group" that booked together and their activities are not open to outsiders. All I want to do is have fun and it sounds as though this cruise has some possibilities. I SCUBA dive and the ports are all popular dive spots. So, it is count down until May.
