Default I want this job!!

Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, and Samantha Brown. These people have the best job in the world ...traveling around the world and eat for free I came close joining Peace Corps several years back, but better opportunity came. I'd like to find a job overseas, so I can be closer to my family in Europe.

Hey Bear, you have never told us your age so I am assuming you are in your 30's, 40's, 50's. Since you have had life experience you can be any age.
You think young so you must be young at heart. Angel

not exactly. I don't have 9 lives. believe me, if I were to have a cat's life, then i would have a different significant other in each city/country I visit.

excerpt from Andrew Zimmern's website:

Spain

Andrew Zimmern's gastronomic tour of the world continues with a trip through Spain. He chows down on suckling pig brains, bull testicles — and everything in between!
Andrew's quest for bizarre food begins in the ham-loving capital city of Madrid. His first stop is the world's oldest restaurant, Casa Botin. Baby suckling pig, partridge stew and baby eels are a great primer for his tapas crawl, a night of eating that includes crunchy pig's ears and bull tails. And don't forget the ham! Spaniards eat every part of the pig but the football, and Andrew is more than happy to join in.

After a long search, Andrew tracks down a true delicacy in Spain — bull testicles, known in Spanish as 'criadillas.' He fries them up, scarfs them down and even has seconds, before heading north to Barcelona.

Barcelona, a Mediterranean city on the northern coast, is home to the largest open-air market in Spain. At said market, Andrew eats everything from rare razor clams to calf's brains and rooster combs.

His final stop — El Bulli, thought by many to be the best restaurant in the world. He goes one on one with the great culinary alchemist Ferran Adria, whose creations you have to see to believe.

Madrid

Casa Bot*n: In business since 1725, la Casa is one of the world's oldest restaurants. Andrew enjoyed 'angulas' (baby eels), whole roast suckling pig, and baby squid in their own ink. Check out the online menu.
Address: Cuchilleros 17, near Plaza Mayor
Phone: (+34) 913 664217 / 913 663026
Open Every Day

La Zapateria: Andrew ate crunchy pig ears, snails, 'pulpo de gallego' (Galician octopus) and 'rabo de toro' (bull’s tails).
Address: Carmen 15, 28013 Madrid, Spain
Phone: 915 216 994

Taverna de Antonia Sanchez: Andrew ate 'callos' (a casserole made of blood sausage and tripe).

Mercado de la Paz Market: Andrew ate 'maruca' eggs,'criadillas' (bull’s testicles), deep-fried pork fat and tripe.

Mueso del Jamon (Ham Museum): Andrew ate jamón ibérico and head cheese.
Web site: www.museodeljamon.es/
Address: There are several locations throughout Madrid.

Barcelona

El Bull* - Voted the best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine, El Bull* is home to celebrated chef Ferran Adria. Andrew enjoyed nitrogen-cooled sake sorbet with lychee nuts and pine nut meringue.
Address: Cala Montjoi. Ap. 30 17480 . Roses, Girona (Spain)
E-Mail: bulli@elbulli.com
Phone: +34 972 15 04 57

La Boqueria - At Barcelona’s largest and most famous food market, you'll find every kind of meat, cheese and fish you could ever want — and some you actually might want to skip. Andrew ate razor clams, fried worms, crickets, 'horchata' ( popular beverage made from tigernuts, water and sugar).

============ end excerpt ===========

I saw this show yesterday's nite, and I will make every effort to track these resturants down in November. I can't wait to dine at Casa Botin and La Zapateria!!! Show me the pig, baby!! oink oink oink!!
