Default Question

Hello everyone.

I am looking to go on a cruise this coming May and I don't like going on my own. Here is my question would anyone like to join me? The more the merrier. I don't even mind doing all the work of finding a good deal. I normally just go through the cruiselines to book myself. I have actually done this once before and put together a nice little group of about 33 people. We all had a blast and I made some great friends. My mom who went even though she isn't single actually met her closest friend on that trip. I just would like to know if anyone is even remotely interested. Thanks

Try posting on Cruisemates' "Seeking Cruise Companion" message board.

You might also check Cruisemates' singles calendar and find a cruise in May that coincides with your schedule. Then you can be matched with a cabin mate by the agency.

Shipmates,

I sailed 09/29/07 on the Glory and have the cruise bug again. I hadn't been in few years. My problem is getting a commitment from someone early for an early booking, so I can plan my budget, and put doen the deposit. Over my years of cruising, people who say they are interested, they the excuses start. Last year a friend of mine promised she was going and strung me along. I found a singles group and booked. They had great single cabin rates. This was my first time sailing in a single cabin. It was nice, and the way to go.

Where are you sailing? I am also looking at NCL Gem. It's a new ship, sailing from NY to the Bahamas. I'm thinking about April 08. Gives me time to recouperate from holiday shopping and loose a few pounds.

Where else did you post? Did anyone respond? I wouldn't mind joining a group next year. My goal is to take 3 cruises in 08

March or April, Summer, and Oct.

I've booked the Star Princess out of SF to the Mexican Riveiera on 10/11/07. I live near SF. First time no air. That's a savings.

PJ...52/Female, non-smoker, but I have been told I snore.

To answer your questions. I was thinking trying NCL. Never tried them before. I was originally apprehensive about trying this line because I thought that the cost of alternative dining would cost to much. I was thinking of doing a western Caribbean or a Mexican Riviera.

I haven't posted anywhere else yet. I am thinking of posting it on some of my yahoo groups. That is where most of the friends who joined me came from.

I loved when I lived in FL for the same reason as no airfare costs. Saved lots of time and money that way.
