Imagination Singles Meet & Greet + captain's cocktail pa

I'm booked on Imagination for the March 22, 2010 sailing and am wondering what to expect from the singles meet & greet the first night in the disco. It is a dressier affair or shorts and tank top sort of thing?
Does everyone have to put on a name tag (I hate that!)? How long is it - an hour? Two?

Also, I was looking at some recent postings of the Key West/Cozumel itinerary and didn't see a captain's cocktail party - is this only on longer cruises?

Oh. how horrible? Maybe I'll just peek in then, for a few minutes, and then leave if it doesn't seem like it's a lot of solo cruisers.
