If you have never cruised before and you want to try out a cruise for 4 nights.... The Carnival Paradise located in Long Beach, California is a great cruise to try. I cruised for my Birthday, Feb. 8th.
It is a Party ship where the people are super friendly and most of them like to dress super casual even on dressy/formal nights.
It is really fun on the Promenade Deck where they have lots of places to listen to music or dance to music.
I had a BLAST! It is a great ship for singles because you are always meeting lots of people of all ages that are fun to talk with.
This ship only cruises to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico.
The Captain decided to stop the ship for the last day in the middle of the ocean so we could enjoy the sunny day and people could enjoy the day without any motion of the ocean. The ocean was really calm.
I thought that was a great idea.
If you are a snooty person and don't like working class people I would advise you not to cruise on this ship. We had a snooty lady with her old mom at our dinner table and she wasn't any fun. I chose not to sit near her because she wasn't friendly. BUT.... everybody else was super friendly at our dinner table.
There were lots of first timers on this ship. There were also lots of activites planned for us cruisers. LucyR.
I plan to cruise on this ship again.
