Silverseas Cruise Lines continue to say that the Chilean Fjords are one of their most popular destinations. Its funny because I always struggle to bet my brain to think of South America as a continent that can have fjords - I always picture Tropical Rio when I think of South America.
We saw the Chilean Fjords in March of this year aboard the "Noordam" on its trip around South America from Rio de Janeiro (sp?) around Cape Horn and up the west coast; through the Panama Canal to Fort Lauderdale. The fjords are truly spectacular with glaciers anf all. We have seen Norway's and New Zealand's and Chile's pretty much equal them. It's a great trip.
