Transportation from Santiago to Valpariso

Leaving Jan 23 on Ryndam from Valpariso. Anyone have any information on
dependable transportation from Santiago hotel to Valpariso departure for the
Ryndam?

We sail into Valparaiso Jan.6th. as our last stop on Royal Princess. The ship provides a transfer servive (vey expensive for the 45 mile drive) There may be a day tour as our Santiago flight home is at 11 p.m. and the ship docks early a.m.
We are undecided whether to tour either, or both, cities. If ypou get an experienced answer perhaps you will let me know at imiglaw71@aol.com

Here is someone else looking for information on transportation from Santiago to Valparisio this November for cruise on the Ryndam. We would need either a car or a lift equipped van as we have one passenger in a wheelchair who cannot climb bus or regular van steps. Would like to hire a car or cab that could also include some limited sight seeing on the way. We have arranged our own flight (much cheaper than the HAL flight) so will probably not be arriving at the same time as other ship passengers, but would be interested in sharing as well if needed to reduce cost. There will be 3 of us.

i came across your question regarding transfers from the port,valparaiso to the airport in santiago,chile. i am wondering how you made out since i plan to use my own air and transportation to the port or airport.

I will be in Valpariso at the end of my cruise - around Dec. l8th.. and would like information on tours for the day-- in Santiago... as my flight leaves at l0:45 that evening... Can you quote rates, etc. and suggestions of tours-- for Santiago - leaving from Valpariso.... perhaps winery-- etc... Would appreciate. I will be traveling alone-- so not sure how that would work out on a tour.
