On a transitional cruise in Hawaii, I was wondering will there be offers for shore excursions right off of the ship like I remember in Nassau? I have heard they can be cheaper but Hawaii is in the states and I don't know if they operate in the same (more casual) manner. The shipboard shore excursions can get very pricey.
Just like anywhere else, you can do much better on your own. Click the link below for one of many sources. This seems to be a pretty good operation. http://www.tombarefoot.com/
Hi
I checked out the site you suggested - WOW
I have a question though - I had called a tour company and was told because we are tendered in Maui that they (tour operators) don't pick up at the pier. They said their trip to Hana took 9 hours and the tour would leave before we could get off the boat.
I would rather take anything but the ship's excursions because they are so expensive and I've always had better luck making my own deals right off the ship but never having been to Hawaii I was wondering if people do that - like the Caribbean.
Any information you have would be appreciated.
Thanks
