I am considering the Carnival Spirit in April 2006 and would like some info on what the weather is like in Hawaii in April. Also if anyone knows what the sea conditions are like in April/May crossing from Hawaii to Vancouver?
The weather in April will be wonderful, not that different from May when we usually go there. And depending which islands you visit, the average temperatures run between 80-85 degrees. You might encounter brief morning or afternoon showers, but that's what makes it so beautiful, plus you'll see lots of rainbows! Not sure about sea conditions from Vancouver to the Hawaiian Islands, try the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) website. There's a drop down menu on the website that will give you lots of info, plus even a section concerning whales. Have a great time!
We've did the Hawaii to Vancouver trip last May. Think it was likely a "burp" in the weather, but as soon as we left Hawaii it got chilly, and a bit rough. Actually got warmer as we got closer to Vancouver.
