Default Lei Greetings

Has anyone had a lei greeting at the airport upon arrival in Honolulu?
Any problems with taking the flowers on the ship? I will be traveling on the Pride of Hawaii.

They do not give out Leis at the airport anymore, but they do give you one when you board the ship. The girls get flower ones and the boys get shell ones.

They don't do "free" leis but you can order one off of the internet,
Prices range from about $17 to $50 for the very fancy ones.

Two years ago, they had the greeters from the company meet you at your fight but they might now meet you at the baggage area.

(one thing about the flowers. They usually use a purple colored flower that is very pretty and has a strong scent to it. We could only wear them for a short time and then we had to put them in the trunk

Yes you can.

In the airport there is a floral shop which has numerous Lei's for purchase.

If you really like flowers, when you get off the ship in Hilo, they sale arrangements for as low as $10. We got one and it looked wonderful in our cabin for the entire 10 day cruise.
