Am thinking of a Hawaiian cruise for our next trip - what time of year is best and which lines do you recommend? We have sailed with Celebrity most recently (Panama Canal) - was fabulous! - Costa and Princess in the
Caribbean. (would rather like to stay AWAY from Princess, if possible).
We would book a veranda or higher and hopefully will be traveling with friends. I really like the idea of sailing from the west coast as opposed to
picking up the ship in the islands. Not crazy about 6 - 10 hrs. on a plane as
we would be leaving from Buffalo, N.Y.

Celebrity's "Hawai'i" cruise is absolutely fantstic!
The cruises to Hawai'i operate sporadically from October until late April or early May. Within that period, any dates would be fine.
We sailed to Hawaii on Summit to/from LA March 06 and loved it.
Great ship, very nice crew etc. Those seadays were also great.
In Hawaii we rented cars in all ports and visited those places we wanted.
I know that when you have the right information that your cruise is bound to be exciting and give you lots of memories. I found a site that that I was able to get a lot of information from that helped me to decide which cruise liner to choose among other things.
