Hawaii from the West Coast!

An article in the news on this board is saying that the laws regarding forign flagged ships sailing around Hawaii has changed. No date has been set, but it is clear change is coming. It sounds like future west coast cruises to Hawaii will be required to start and end in Mexico. The key wording in the article refers to large American flagged ships on regular schedules. If I were NCL I would place a ship in the Carribean and force the other cruise lines to reschedule. Am I the only one who sees a problem? Mike

Yeah~~I think we all do. Luckily, we are sailing in 6 days, so it won't affect us.

I think this will be the last Hawaii cruise for us. We will not take a bus down there, and DH doesn't fly.
