Default Do you dress to match your mate?

When you dress for formal and informal evenings do you and your mate dress to match. Does your dress or gown go with your husband's or partner's tuxedo or suit or do each of you do your own thing?

Tuxedo and cocktail dress?

Gown and sport jacket?

Tuxedo and gown?

Tuxedo t-shirt and sun dress?

Take care,
Mike

For a second I thought you were asking if we do, like a color match, which we don't.. It would never occur to either one of us, to put on something other then what the evening called for.

Default Do You Dress to Match Youjr Mate?

We dress for what the evening calls for, as well. Anyway, I think a good rule of thumb is that you both should look like you're going to the same place!

Trip:

No: The days of having matching colors went out with the Junior Prom. I should have stated it more in the way of.

Does your mate dress to the same level you do?

I have seen many women who wear a pants suit and their husband is wearing a tuxedo or a woman is dressed in a beautiful gown and her husband or mate is dressed in a polo shirt and cargo pants. It just seems to "clash".

Take care,
Mike

We only dress alike when on a Star Trek cruises,
we wear the formal red and black captains uniform seen on Next Generation show.
We also have a grey and gold uniforms for the Deep Space 9 nights.
If you are a star trek fan you will understand

Default Dressing Like Your Mate

When on a cruise, we dress in the same style of clothes, i.e., tux = gown. What's scary is that many times at home, when we are dressing to go out, such as church, we sometimes end up wearing the same colors. Not intentional, probably just a byproduct of being married for 43 years....

Yes, we try to dress to the same level as each other.
