Default Tencel, I love It.

I don't know about you, but I love Tencel, that soft packable material. It's hard to find in the stores. Does anyone know of a catalogue that offers fashionable styles? I am not really looking for the items they sell in travel catalogues though..any help?

Trip - have you checked Coldwater Creek? I seem to recall that they had some items made out of Tencel.

How about Magellan's? I think they carry it also.

Default Tencel, I Love It

I have several pieces of tencel. I can't agree that it's packable. My things just hang in the closet and still need to be ironed.

But if you like it, check out Norstrom, store or web site. They also feature tencel in their catalogs. Also Appleseed's carry it. That's a catalog from with stores in Maine that faithfully keeps me up on their tencel supply.

Judy...To me, packable does not alway mean wrinke free..it packs down to nothing, and for me, it's cool...and my trusty little steamer takes care of pesky wrinkles

Tencel is a man-made fabric that has been out for about 5 yrs. It may have been around longer than that, but only recently appears in more ready to wear. It is a lovely fabric: good colors, nice drape, and breathes very well compared to other man-mades (nylon, polyester, etc.). Clothes hold up well after repeated washings.

I am ashamed to admit it but I am adicted to eBay and they have over 300 items listed made out of Tencel. It may be worth checking out.
