Over 35 years ago these were popular, and they seem to be making a huge comeback, I have noticed. Do you remember the little hangers women attached to a table, and hung their little bags from, so, as not to dirty them on the floor?
Check out this link, to see what they are, if you have no idea what I am talking about While I never used one back in the good old days, I think I will get one for the Century cruise, because I always put my teeny bag on the table, or in my lap.
They range from doing the job, to see my bling styles, Do a search and check them all out.
I sometimes carry, tiny, wee ones that, have no handles and take up no room at all on the table. If it has a handle it goes on the chair. I think these hooks could asuage anyones feelings..It's safe, and clean, and handy

I've never heard of such a thing. But I have gone to a few restaurants that have little hooks under the table so you can hand a handbag.
On a ship, I hang it over a chair if I can, or else I just put it in my lap.
Interesting question, Lisa. I was always told that it's rude to put a bag on the table. (???) Anybody know the proper etiquette for that?
I don't remember if I still have the one that was my Mother's or not. But until recently hadn't seen them. Might get one for next cruise.
