On toga nights the cabin stewards leave white sheets and a few examples of how to make a toga out of the sheet. I have seen people with silk flowers or greenery they made into head dresses. Also have seen fancy belts, jeweled pins used to secure the sheets, and sandles. Just use your imagination and have fun...

i was thinking along the lines of gold chain type belt to cinch it in at the waist and maybe a pin to hold it together.

We had a toga night on the Windjammer ship I was on, and a lot of the women wore pretty camisoles -- some sparkly ones -- under their togas.

I hope posting a link is OK. Got some great ideas from this one: http://www.howtomakeatoga.info/ Used a long piece of fabric and made a crown out of plastic grape vine from the fabric store.

If its not too late, in 6th grade I had to make a toga..

All you need is a sheet and safety pins.

Fold the sheet in half, and place two pins to close up the blanket. Stick your arms through and you have a toga!

last year on a carnival cruise, the teens decided to have a toga night. we asked the stewards for extra white sheets and they gave them to us. we only used the sheets and had our swim suits under. we didnt use pins or anything. there are ways u can twist up the sheet and wrap it around so that it looks like a nice little summer dress. i made mine a halter mini dress. it was very cute and looked like it came that way

Maybe it's the "Cheer Mom" in me, but I'm thinking spray glitter!
