Default Is this smart casual?

Fashionistas, I need your advice! I'm going on my first cruise (HAL Westerdam) in December. I've got my outfits for the formal nights, but I have a question about the "smart casual" nights in the dining room. I recently ordered a short-sleeved drapey tunic, a pair of slim, cropped white sateen pants, and a pair of skinny full-length pants. For smart casual night, I was thinking of wearing the tunic over the white pants or the black pants with bronze high-heeled sandals. I plan to accessorize with either a skinny metallic knit scarf (as a belt or wrapped around my neck) or costume jewelry (long necklace, chunky bracelet). I could see people in my city wearing this to dine in a nice, trendy restaurant or going out on the town. Would this be considered too casual for a Holland America cruise?

I think what you have picked out would be perfect, may-be even a little too dressy for smart casual, so you'll be fine.

Definitely appropriate.
On casual nights you will see a variety of things on HAL.
The cruise line just dropped its "no jeans in the dining room" prohibition, so you will see some in jeans.
I wear sundresses or slacks on casual night, for the most part.

Yes that will work for smart casual on HAL or RCI but on Princess smart
casual is not that dressy.
