How to attach pictures to your posts

Here is another way to attach pictures - using the "manage attachments feature below the "reply to thread" or "create new message" boxes.

See the thumbnails attached here - those show the four steps to uploading a picture.

1. first you click on "manage attachments"

2. Then you browse on your computer to find the picture you want to upload

3. Then you select the picture you want and you will see it in the "browse" window.

4. Click on the button that says "upload". You will then see the pictures attached as thumbnails. People can click on them to see the whole thing.

There are four attached thumbnails below that show this. Each attachment goes with the four steps above.

A nice feature to use and it also does a pretty good job of automatically resizing pictures.

You have not seen others with pictures in thier messages. It is disallowed. you can add a link to the photos area of the group, and direct people to refer there to see your attachment, but you'll need permission from the owner / moderator to upload pictures to the group.

I am not sure what you are refering to...

When you hit "reply to thread" you see an area below the post that says "manage attachments" - you can upload a picture with that. It is easy.

There is no special permission required.

No matter how many times I have tried I am still unable to post pictures within my posts .
