I have never been on a cruise before, and I was curious as to what is appropriate for the formal nights. There will be two formal nights on the cruise I am going on, and I think I am going to bring my two "prom" style dresses :one is black, with a slight glitter trim on the top, and the other is a coral color, with SOME, but not much, beading. Is this appropriate, or will it be too much?
ALWAYS DO TOURS THROUGH THE BOAT!!! Its much safer and if for some reason the tour happens to go late...the boat will wait for you. But if you do tours privately and the tour is late....you'll be waving to the Triumph as it goes out to see. I did all my tours through the boat
we do all of our tours independantly.....if you do morning tours and make sure you have like 2 extra hours youwont have to worry about getting back to the boat, and they are usually cheaper and less crowded
And another thing with doing tours through the boat is that there is a guarantee so if anything goes wrong...carnival is responsible. You can get your money back and everything. If you do it indepedently, they hold no responisbility. Also itz also a good way to meet other people on your ship.
my family preferrs the less crowed tours (we ususaly get ideas from cruisecritic.com and descuss them with other people from there that are on our cruise) and they ususaly cost much less and are better conducted
