Has anyone flown alone on Northwest airlines without the minor service. I'm 15 and will be flying to Denver with both connections (going and returning) in Detroit. I hate that airport and its completely confusing. So are the northwest people still happy to help you? Or am I on my own? They know my age because its on my ticket or something. I think I can find my way through the airport without some NWA lady follwing me around making sure i'm safe, but I will probally get lost in some way! This post is kind of off topic, but it would be nice to know.
I haven't flown Northwest before, but I have traveled alone. Ask one of the people that work at the airport, like the ones that drive around the old ladies to help you. If you ask someone that doesn't have time or something I'm sure they will find someone who will be able to walk you to your gate. Good luck!
Never had any problems traveling alone. i flew 4 months after 9/11 alon on Nothwest when i was 15 and had no problems. also, the detroit northewest terminal is the easiest most efficently built terminal i have been in. You will have no problems with connections
Thanks everyone. I like northwest airline, but i've only flown with my family so i didnt really know what to expect. When we flew into detroit, we flew into like concorse A and we had to go to concorse C. I thought it was pretty confusing and there was a lot of walking. Then like all of the NW gates are in like a seperate little part with no sitting areas by each gate. I found it kind of confusing, but i guess since i went there last month, i should know it a little better. What if i picked a seat next to a weird person?? Can i ask them to change it? I piked my seats online but i couldnt see who was next to me..... Thanks everyone!
