Default Cruising without parents

Hi,
I have permission from my parents for my friend and I (both nearly 18) to go on a cruise like the navigator at the beginning of june this year. I'm pretty sure there is a rule that someone 25 years or older has to be with you in the cabin, is there a way for just me and him to go on the cruise by ourselves, without anyone else? Could we trick the travel agency or cruiseline into thinking one of us was 25 (how can they check). If anyone has heard of ways to get on without parents please let me know. Cruising sounds awesome...peace

There is absolutely no possible way to do this. They check your birth certificate and ID.

I read somewhere if you are below 25, but married you can go. Its not like you will bring your marriage license ;-)...But then like Nikole, I suppose you two are guys.

If you say you are married, you have to have a proof of marriage license if your under 21, but Princess cruises if you are under 21, but over 18, you can cruise without a parents. I know for sure because my sisters boyfriend and 8 of his friends went on Golden Princess last spring and didnt have a problem.

Ok So then you are saying that if i am 17 and my friend will is 18, we can cruise the golden princess no problem by ourselves? Like our own room and everything? We are looking for a fun teen scene, thats why i wanted navigator in the beginning,, would Golden prinecss still have a good scene?

Not sure about being 17, but I think all my sisters friends were 18. You might want to have your friend who is 18 check... That is good for any Princess ship, but I suggest Grand or Golden.

Dperry, next summer either GOLDEN or GRAND PRINCESS will be in the Caribbean. In April, the CARIBBEAN PRINCESS will be based there year-round. These "jumbo ships" are nice and I am sure there will be many teens. If you don't want to be crowded, don't even think about CARIBBEAN PRINCESS...

On Princess the age to have your own cabin etc..is 18, not 21. On all the other lines if you're not 21, someone 25 must be in the room w/ you.

Maybe this won't seem cool to you, but Disney will let teens 18 and up cruise alone. My daughter and her best friend went on a land/sea Disney vacation when she graduated high school. They had no problems going on the entire trip by themselves, whether it was at Disney World, the ports or the ship itself. They had a fabulous time!
