i've finally saved up enough money for a new guitar (hell yeah) and for a long time i've really wanted the gibson SG, but i don't know anyone that has one... sooo... just wondering... does anyone here have one that can tell me about it and if its a good guitar and anything else about it.. cause i want to hear stuff about it from someone that actually has one, not just the store's opinions... ya know? plztnxmuah

the SG is amazing, i used to have one, but im a drummer really. I liked it great tones as expected with any gibson, only thing is it does feel a little wierd when playing with a strap like at a show or something, the weight takes a little while to get used to, but fretting is very easy

ahhh im jealous!! i REALLY wanted to see them.. they were playing a show here a little while before they broke up with the early november.. but my parents were like no.. its a TUESDAY.. and i was all like.. ok.. i'll see them some other day.. and then they broke up.. and it was relaly depressing.. stupid driving age.. pssht

OOOH and another question.. sorry.. back to the guitar stuff... does anyone know what might be a good amp for the SG around the 200-300$ range-ish? cause i don't really know what to look for and any suggestions would be really helpful.. thanx =P

the amp all depends on what kinda music you like not the guitar, teh gutiar works well with any amp but the distortions and stuff built in to the amp will give it the style of music you like to play....and how big of an amp would u want, like 15w or 100w, 200-300 isnt enough for a stack so yeah
