Hey You all I was wondering if anyone has been on the Carnival cruises and they sell Louis Vuitton Purses in the giftshop?? because my mother is not going to drive all the way to New York city to buy me one unless we go there on vacation and we arent ne time soon. So can someone please help me out!!!!

Not sure- I dont look @ purses, but if they do, they are going to be like a million bucks.

They dont have them in the girt shop. =( But in st.thomas they had some on the side hops. St. martin had some too. In San Juan they have a LV stoe.

Hey, if you buy one from some place in the caribbean, make sure its authentic. You dont wanna spend like 700 bucks on a bag thats only worth like 10..... Go to www.eluxury.com, or you can get the direct link from www.LouisVuitton.com. You talk to this chat lady, its like an AIM message, you tell her what you want, and she shows u pictures and stuff of it. I would buy it online to make sure u get an authentic bag. My mom is obsessed with LV lol

I would be careful where you buy them. If you are looking for the real thing I would call them on the telephone( the # is on their website). If you don't buy from there you might be getting a reproduction (not that there is anything wrong with that). I don't want you to get ripped off. The real LV purses run in the range of $3000-$5000 dollars. But... you can get a pretty good replica online, at a flea market, or at your local mall for around $30-$120 dollars.

Your best bet in finding LV in the western caribbean would be in the Caymans. My parents bought my Cartier watch there last year.

For bags, your best bet would be a place called Kirks. You will find this shop on Cardinal Ave not far from the north and south tender terminals. I remember they had a large range of exclusive lines like Fendi and Jean Paul Gaultier but I don't remember seeing LV. I would suggest you shop around first on your cruise, see if something catches your eye, if not, you can always order online.

Make sure you watch your duty-free allowance when buying luxury goods, plus make sure you get a letter of authenticity.

Or, since your leaving from Miami, you can pick one up at the LV store at the Bal Harbour Shops. Just north of the port, This place is widely regarded as the epitome of shopping in Miami. You can find a store directory and adresses at this link-

i wish louis purses ranged from $300 to $500!!! theyre ALOT more than that! i bought a fake like the same month they were released about a year ago and it was $100, and thats for a fake!

The LV store is in the Condado area of San Juan..It's a cab ride away...about 7-10 dollars and about 10 minutes away.
I know ya'll are going western but here is for the people who are goin eastern!

to what rehr said- LV bags dont cost 3000-5000.. only duffels and lugage bags do.. I have a fake LV which i got for $20 thats usually anywhere from 200-600.. regular (real) purses are mostly all under 1000.. unless its like leather or somethhing..

Oh the pink is probably really cute! i have 3 white ones w/ rainbow DB's different styles and two black ones w/ rainbow DB's. I like Jessica Simpsons LV purse, its really cute, it probably costs a fortune.....................omg how could u like coach purses i think they r so ugly! my mother has a collection of them!

omg u guys r making me soooo jealous....i really want a DB, i will probably talk my mom into buying me one for the cruise....they r so darn cute...i have a fake kate spade that i use sometimes... Louis Vittons are SO expensive...if i bought one i'd be spending as much money as we did on our cruise!

Word to the wise!

Louis Vuitton's are not leather. Only the handles are leather and are supposed to age to a lovely shade of brown from the oils in your hand! The actual bag part is a "high grade VINYL!"
