Do punks go on the cruises or is it mostly a preppy thing? I have never gone on one and would like to know if there are only going to be preps or if there will be punks too.
the cruise peole arent gonna be like "ew your a punk you cant cruise!" cruises are for everyone and i do agree with iheartcold about that last thing..

I just would like to be accompanied by HUMANS on this cruise. Even if their old and crusty, they're HUMAN. But yeah, I think we've all established that I'm twisted so it doesn't matter too much.
No thats not what I ment it just came out wrong..... there are alot of rude and ignorent "preps" at my school. I have friends that are preps I just wanted to know if there were going to be rude preps on the cruise.
Ok I didn't say the i'm agenst punks thing, and I thought you could tell me what type of people are usually on cruises if you have been on a lot of them.

i consider myself to be original.. i listen to a lot of punk music and alt crap.. (sometimes emo.. *hides face* WHAT?! {just kiddin all u emo fellas}) but anyways, yea i consider myself to be unique, cause like, i shop at american eagle and hollister & places like that... but i also go into hot topic all the time. (one of the best stores in the mall).. so u definitely would not be able to classify me... hmmm..

Oh I thought I had put preps but I guess I had put punks. No trust me I don't hate punks I am one and I do have friends that are preps. I just don't want there to only be rude people on the cruise or people I can't relate to.

well i am one of those "no lablers" but i don't think it matters cause most of the time ur in a bathing suit so theres no real way of telling wut you are. if ur mean and snobby ur not in an catagory ur just mean!

Well in my school you have to wear clothes from Hot Topic, listen to the right music, and have the right attitude....oh and be accepted by the punk croud. It is hard to describe it and different people have different ideas of what a punk is.
gha. this is rediculous everyone. who cares? you shouldnt be so insecure that you need to hang out with the same kinda people and finding the need to label people and all that crap. there is no definition of "punk" theres just lots of stereotypes of who says who is "punk" and who isnt. bascially it comes down to what you wear...which is the stupidest thing ever to judge someone on. i listen to a lot of music that counts as punk (and some emo kinda stuff in there like lindsay.....hey! dont be ashamed of it! its good stuff. haha) but no one would ever classify me as being what they might call "punk" i shop all over the place...and other than my favorite black studded belt...i usually don't look like the stereotypical punk a lot of people have in their minds. so dont judge a book by its cover...its so cliche but its true. plus, you were asking about whos gonna be on a cruise. hey. youre on vacation! worrying about crap like that should be the last thing on your mind. yeah...sorry. this kinda stuff really gets me going.
Its ok I get really worked up over things to. I really just like to know what and who to expect when I go places thats just how I am. I definatly worded this topic wrong and for that I'm sorry but I'm titled to my own opinion like you are.
It's a tad ironic how many "punks" classify preps by the fact that they all shop at Abercrombie, J Crew, American Eagle, Hollister, or what have you...yet a perfect example is Beachbunny stating above that at her school, only the accepted "punks" shop at Hot Topic.
all i wanted to know was if there was gonna be alot of preppy people there..i didnt meen it in a way to be rude...i jus wanted to know b/c ima punk and i didnt want to be like the only one there....i have nothin against preps ....only rude ones who act stuck up ....so you all took it the wrong way...i was jus askin a question cuz ive never been on a cruise before...and usually theres alot of skinny rich preppy girls there and from what ive seen theres not many punk lookin people..so im sorry if i said it the wrong way...
Oh and about before when the part about how i'm all "insecure" and "judgemental" you have no right to say that to me....you don't even know me and i'm tittled to my own opinion.....its not like i'm sayin that all preeps are rude just some (like some people who live around me....I live in Maryland the people that are preeps here might not be considered that where you live)....
