Default formal wear

i'm going on a cruise (carnival triumph) with 2 formal nights.. rescently spent a lot of money on a prom dress and this is a chance for me to wear it again... is that appropriate, or too formal for a cruise?

it might be a bit too formal....i dunno tho. what cruise are you going on? I wore a cute skirt and matching shirt to formal nights. it probably depends on how dressy your prom dress is...

I've seen the people who don't dress up too much and those who go all out. So it's really up to you. If you want to wear your prom dress, wear your prom dress. I doubt you'll be the only one.

prom dresses are okay....just make sure they arent like to full at the bottom. i had a dress that i used for this formal/ white glove ball this past summer and i couldnt take it on my Christmas cruise cause it was too full. So i just went out and bought two cheap homecomming dresses at ross for 15 bucks each.
Have fun!

I wear homecoming dresses to formal night, so you should be fine.
