18 years old?

K i just turned 18 and im going on 2 cruises next summer and im kinda worried about my age. im worried i will be too old for the "teens" yet too young to hang out with people 21 and over. are there alot of people on cruises during the summer who are around my age. by the way, i dont even mind hanging out with teens younger than me, theyre usually more fun anyways. im just worried about fitting in. my cruises are Voyager of the Seas 5-22-05 and Jewel of the Seas 7-26-05

haha i'm in the same boat! I'll be 18 on Oct. 23rd and i'm cruising March 5th 2005 and i too am worried about the age thing... but i get to gamble so that'll be interesting since i've never done that before! haha But yea i'm worried i won't find people my age to hang out with ...

same 4 me but backwards im 13 so im to young to hang wit the 15 16 yo and im to old to hang wit the 10 11 yo so i only met 2 ppl

im 14 but when i went on my cruise last month i just hung out with 16 and 17 y/os and they didnt really care, they thought i was 15 at first anyways lol just lie bout your age

i was worried about the same thing as you before i went on my cruise, and i'd like to tell you that you have nothing to worry about. However, you're pretty much screwed so I can't tell you that. Just have fun and enjoy the cruise itself; you'll probably meet a couple people but even if you don't, the cruise atmosphere itself is just a pleasant thing. Regardless of how your social meetings go on the ship, the ports are amazing to visit and you should definitely have excursions booked.

In my opinion it sucks, i was on the *9 day navigator cruise on august 28th. I turned 18 on june 28th. I wasnt able to go in the teen club, all i did was gamble and lose around 80 bucks of my own money and i drank like 3 times, i thought being able to drink was gonna be the best thing in life, but in reality its not, then in the adult club, there were a whole bunch of married older people there but i still managed to dance wit some ladies. I really missed bein able to go 2 the teen club, i guess that wat happens when u become older. Maybe ill be more prepared when i come bacc from college next year and go on my future cruise The Adventure.

yeah but i remember when i was about 16 and i went on Radiance of the Seas a whole bunch of 18 and 19 year olds would come and hang out with us in the teen club.

well in a way i agree. when i go on a cruise my number 1 goal is too hook up with a guy. on all the cruises ive been on i have ALWAYS hooked up with a guy and it is my goal to hook up with someone on the next cruises i go on next summer. but i hope i find someone thats pretty close to my age. would it be bad for an 18 yr old to hook up with a 17 yr old guy?

we went on the disney ship august 19th n my brother who is 18 went n hung out with the teen club n the age limit is only up to 17 n u dont have 2 go 2 the teen club 2 hang out with ppl my brother just played basketball n who ever was up there he played with n then became friends with them n they werent all 18 so ... im sure ull b fine hope this helped a lil

I've always wondered why the cruiselines didn't do a little more for the say, 18-21 year old market, ConcreteDreams. It seems as though there could be *some* sort of offerings that didn't involve gambling, drinking or hanging out with much older adults.
