What is Everybody's Favorite Bands and Most Hated Bands

My FAVORITE band is Poison the Well. Also I like From Autumn to Ashes, Slayer, Chevelle, Led Zeppellin, Black Sabbath, the Steve Miller Band, Pink Floyd, Rush, and the Beatles to name a few. My most HATED bands are Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, Yellow Card, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, Senses Failed, Story of the Year, the Casulties, the Ramones, any punk music, any rap (except Eminem becuase he's hilarious and the craziest white guy i've ever seen), any teeny bopper music, WHICH I ABSOLUTLEY HATE) like Britney Spears or Ashley Simpson(the lip singer), and some country is all right but most of it is stupid.

What are everyone else's favorite bands?

i love hopesfall(old cds), saosin, FBTMO, coheed, and as i lay dying, and i absolutly cannot stand simple plan, most drive thru bands(besides early novemeber and hipv) and all those sell out bands taht make their sound over what sells rather then waht matters to them

my favorite are ...led zeppelin..pink floyd... jimi hendrix....the doors..... joe cocker...... bob dyaln...the ramones....10 years after.... meat loaf.... eric clapton....bob marley... the dead....um...some more and my most hated.. any country

ooh i have too many favorite bands.. the kinison, funeral for a friend, a thorn for every heart, the killers, taking back sunday, the blood brothers, finch, senses fail, thrice, thursday, the who, orange island, northstar, anatomy of a ghost .. i could go on forever.

thennnnnn the ones i hate the most are the good charlotte/ simple plan-type bands. shaaa

orange island is from the town next to mine, its weird there getting really big now but they never had the respect others did in our scene

My favorites are mostly classic rock bands except for a few:

Clapton, the Eagles, the Who, the Band, SMB, CCR, Bruuuuce, but I also like modern alternative rock.

I can't stand most rap (except I like 50 Cent for some reason) and I can't stand all that EMO crap.

i'd have to say collective soul...hands down! as far as the worst...there are soooooo many crappy bands out there so i dont even know where to start. but blink 182 is a good start!

i have alot of fav bands... i like mushroomhead, slipknot, kittie, slayer, metallica, g0dsmack, new found glory, yellowcard, nofx, mxpx, blink 182, linkin park.. n i got so many more but these r top fav..

Uhh wow. always a controversial topic. Favorite bands would definetely be the used, letter kills, and the lostprophets. I haven't seen anyone post about these bands. odd I think they're amazing. least favorite bands oooooh my. if you even could consider coldplay a band....gah i despise coldplay.

letterkills i think was better before they redid their songs, i saw them at the 03 warped on this small stage in the back before anyone knew them and alot of other bands were there to support them, bert from the used was a couple people over from me

everyone check out my boys The Receiving End Of Sirens, just got signed to triple crown and their album drops in Feb. and im sure its going to be a name you will hear alot from in the future, amazing band, amazing people

Let's see...my favorite is Bad Religion. I also like Letter Kills, Rancid, Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, Flogging Molly, Descendents, Dropkick Murphys, Weezer, Goo Goo Dolls, IMA Robot, and Fugazi.

I don't hate too many bands, I'm pretty open-minded, but I despise New Found Glory, HIlary Duff, and hip-hop/rap. But that's just me. I'm not gonna say you should like certain bands and hate others, because everyone's entitled to their own opinion...right?

ok.. I know this might make some contraversy but how come some people love a band as long as its "underground" and barely heard of...Then as soon as its on t.v. they hate them because theyre "sellouts"... If you really liked that band you should support them and be happy that they got big.. not be all like " oh their such sellouts.. they mad ea video... now everyone knows about them blah blah blah?"
Why shouldnt others be able to hear the great music too?

bands that really care about the music and not the money don't let themselves sell out.

they don't HAVE to go on trl to present their newest video.
they don't HAVE to go on tour with big name bands.

they choose to be that way, and then when they get signed to these major record companies, they make them write songs about certain things, and make their music sound a certain way to appeal to the greatest amount of people (13 and 14 year old girls).. their sound totally changes from when they were underground, and the true fans don't like that they've changed what they do for a larger market.

THAT'S why we don't support the mtv bands.
