anyone been on Sovereign of the Seas (royal carribean) i'm going in march....any info would be great! thanks

This November/December she is getting a major overhaul, and they are adding a larger teen club, new bars, Johnny Rockets, balconies, and updating other areas of the ship. There is a preview 2night cruise for VIP's (which I wish I could take to see the changes)- thats how big of a deal this "refit" is. Usually cruiselines just refit the ship and put it back in service, but SOS is getting basically a new life...

hi the soverign was my 1st cruise also we went in feb 2002 and i loved it ! it was really good. its got a really cool teen club thing and its just a blast ! you will love it ! the only thing that was bad was that it wasnt long enough ! lol it was only 3 nights so it was over too quick ! hope this helps KaTeE XooXOXxoxoxoox

hey.. yea ive been on it ... it was my second cruise in august 25th 1997 i was o about 6 or 7 n im 17 now so u do the math haha im not good at math but yea ne who .... when i was on it .. i hated it ... i mean it was a pretty ship.. but we just had a horrible horrible experience... i donno how n if things have changed n if they have im sure ull have a good time... i donno i mean every1 is different.. i know this aint the info ur lookin 4 but i hope u have a better time then i had... i hope u have an awsome time ....

I was on the Sovereign in Feb. of 04, and I absolutly loved it. It's one of the older ships, but if you find good people to hang out with, you'll have just as good of a time as you would on any of the large voyager ships. I've been on bigger ships, but my cruise on the Sovereign ended up being my favorite.

The Sovereign was my second cruise.. but that was in 1997.. I've read reviews of the Sovereign after the refit and a lot of people complained about problems that needed to be worked out, but Im sure by March they'll fix it
