People you've met

ok for everyone who has gone on a cruise (seeing my last one was when i was 12) who all have meet people they actually still keep in touch with? like i have heard people say i have met people or i met my first kiss on the ship...i know i'm going to meet people cuz i always seem to.....but like where did you meet them and that kinda stuff i'm just interested in any stories...thanks everyone! <3 katie <3

Yup, i keep in touch with my friends still. We met at the teen ice breaker meeting and just hung out the rest of the week. I even went to Knotts Berry Farm with most of them on Sunday! Couldnt go with two other girls because they live in New York, but I still talk to them. I even met my EX boyfriend on the ship lol but we're still really great friends.

yea i met sum ppl on my recent cruise in august yes we keep in touch.. we're like best friends n funny story we actually met on the elevator on the way 2 the teen club...i was with my mom n grandmom we were talkin n my mom starts talkin 2 this kid askin him if he was goin 2 the teen club n i was havin sum anxioity bout goin n i have also been on this ship b4 n i just didnt feel like goin to the teen club at that moment n my mom was like hey take her with u n he took me with him pushed me off the elevator n we hung out every single day like all day long.. but yes that is my story on how i met that 1 kid.. ok well im outie so ill ttyl hope u enjoy readin .

Yeah defiantly... I still talk to people I met on past cruises I have even met up again with some in Michigan. My cousin lives in the same city and ironically two doors down from this one girl who I met.
Bree- I live in Michigan
Me- Ohh cool what part...
Bree- Ohh around Detroit
Me- Awesome, my cousin lives around there also! We should meet up sometime...
Bree- Yeah, just for fun whats his name?
Me- You wont know him- Joel Booth...
Bree- OMFG Joel Booth is your cousin? He lives next door to me!
Me- Thats BS, what street do you live in...
Bree- Crystal Creek Lane! Joel Booth lives right next to me, we used to be in the same class in 4th grade!

That next summer I went to my cousins house and there she was, next door- ironic. We also met up with 4 other people we met on the cruise who lived in Detroit. It was cool and I still talk to them.

I still talk to a lot of the people I met on the Sovereign. My mom and I are planning to go visit them next summer.

I met a guy who is in the army and we still keep in touch. Girls, you know about those men in uniform! I met him on one of the formal nights and he had on his formal military uniform. #*!@ He looked so fine!

Yuppers... My cruise was 7/14/03 on the Dawn Princess to Alaska.... i have 7 really close friends, i still talk to 6, the only one i don't talk to is Will and he lives in Mexico

i miss him, but anyways my friend Ryan and Emily who i still talk to might come over ( they live in Vermont and Mass. (im in NY)) for Christmas... and I still talk to Ellen, Blair, Megan and Jessica...

Can't wait to make new friends on my next cruise!!

yeahh i always meet a lot of people n i get all there sns n phone numvers n i talk 2 them all for a few months nthen after that maybe theres like 3 or 4 i still alawyas talk 2 on phone/comp but ususallyy after a while most people drift away bc when they live far away n dont get 2 see them its hard 2 continue 2 always talk .. it sux

i haven't talked to anyone from my first cruise in like 3 years (cruise was 4 years ago)...my second cruise, a few of us talk once in a blue moon. i find the further past the cruise you get, the more you drift. it's especially hard when you live in places where a call is long-distance. instant messenger helps a little. on my first cruise i met somebody who lives in the town across the street from me, which was REALLY freaky, and we never got to exchange info since he got in trouble last nite of the cruise and i haven't talked to him since the cruise. kind of depressing.

on a lighter note, one of my friends from my last cruise brought along her video cam. i think it's an awesome idea and i'm gonna do it on my next cruise. this way you can not only see pics but hear everyones voice and stuff again. plus you can record a tour of the boat.
