well ive been on princess n carnival n its possible there .. people buy it in the idlands n bring it back on the ship n people ive met give it to me . but i wanan bring my own from home in my suitcase but im scared haha
Even though I really discourage drinking while on ship....I saw to many drunks on the Rhapsody last April.
So, for those of you that have actually been on a RCI ship you may know that if you are 16 and your parents say you can when they check in, you can buy alcoholic drinks while on board while the ship is in international waters....otherwise your gonna have to wait for Mexico....but who goes all the way to Mexico just to drink....thats plain lame....do something fun like scuba diving or go to a nice beach.
Sorry WalkonDeck, that is just not true and you have been mis-informed. On RCI you can purchase beer and wine only if you are 18 or older. You must be 21 for spirits. You cannot buy any alcohol under the age of 18, if your parents agree or not.

when i was on my cruise ship last summer i just went up to the bar and was about to order a Non Acholic drink...when the little waiter person gave me this margarita looking thing...lol
You must be 21 to purchase alcohol on a Royal Caribbean International or a Celebrity Cruises ship. If you are 18 years of age, your parents or guardians can sign something at the beginning of the cruise that holds them liable for your behavior. If they do this, 18 year olds can purchase wine and beer only.
