I am going on the Dawn March 27th with all of my friends for Spring Break. I was wondering if anyone ever tried bringing alcohol on the ship and how you were able to sneak it on. We were going to put it into dark bottles..any suggestions?
if i was you i would just wait till i got on the boat and find some college kids to buy some for you and you will probably even be able to order drinks in a bar sometime, but its not worth getting caught at the port before you leave and screwing your whole vacation
You have to understand that we will not allow people to plan on and help you break the law on this website. Simply stated, the use of alcohol is forbidden by minors and we do not encourage nor will we assit you in circumventing the law here.

People have a question, let them ask. If they want to ask because thats what they are into then thats what they r into, so what. Don't delete it because you aren't interested in this. They are so let them be. And if your 18 on Royal Carribean then u can get beer and wine yourself.
Dude, dont even start with that... Its simple for you guys to so a search, you should be thanking me that I dont just delete things that I disgree with! Its just when twice a week the same question, which isnt even supposed to be talked about here, is asked, I cant do that...
Parents already talk about teens and the problems with alcohol on cruises on the other boards here, now if you were teen host, how would you feel if you read about how disappointed adults were about YOUR boards.... Different point of view buddy...
In the USA age 18 is considered an adult- not a teen...
Honostly i can careless so i dont need an attitude bro. I'm not into getting screwed up on cruises all the time, so wutever. I dont want to argue so u have a point and its valid so wutever its cool. I understand where u come from.
If you think alcohol is a fun thing then check this out! Alcohol is a dangerous substance even when you are theoretically old enough to handle it.
A posting in another board on this site. This can/could happen to one of you.
>>This morning on the news I learned that a 21 year old girl who played field hockey
>>with my daughter while in high school had been killed in a car accident. Early Sunday
>>morning A***** and her boyfriend and another couple were coming home from a bar.
>>A***** was the designated driver. She and the other girl had to urinate. They went
>>outside and went in front of the SUV so they boys couldn't see them. The boyfriend
>>(who was drunk) thought it would be funny to drive off down the road so the girls
>>would think they were stranded. I don't know if he didn't realize they were in front of
>>the car, or just forgot because of the alcohol - but he drove forward, and ran over and
>>killed A*****.
>>To make matters worse her parents were in Florida on vacation and her brother,
>>whom my son played football with, was in France on a school exchange trip. The
>>poor son had to fly all the way home by himself. At least the parents had each other
>>for comfort. I just can't image their pain. How senseless and stupid. I guess we will
>>have a funeral this week too.
Alcohol has ended a young life. She will NOT be coming back and will be in a very cold grave forever!
Do you want to be in the same situation?
Do you want your parents to be grieving for your lost life?
How much pain do you want to inflict on other people?
Please do not reply and say this wont happen to me.
If you drink enough irresponsibly, a similar situation will happen to you.
If you are lucky??? it will take a long time to happen, but it will happen.
you cannot bring any alcohol on the ship . even if you are over 21 , they will take it out of the luggage. if you try to use your card to buy alcohol at the bar, the card will come up as under 21.
i remember my parents bought a bottle of absolut in one of the ship's shops.. how does the duty-free-ness work with alcohol? just like everything else?
carnival ships have such tight security, 1st off my sister was completely trashed the whole night one night on the miracle last summer and they didnt even do anything and our friends we met were 17 & 20 and they brought drinks on the ship, no idea how but they had a safe in there room where they put it..
exactly....carnival has very low security on alcohol from what ive seen....and the guards take action, but only after people are totally trashed and everythings really chaotic
Dan I see your point I guess for USA anyway. But at least potentially there are people posting from countries where drinking age is 16 so no laws being broken then, right?
You r moderator so you can say "just search", but that could apply to:
- Fuel club (just search!)
- RCL ships (just search!)
- Carnival ships (just search!)
- Cozumel (just search!)
- etc.
You get my drift. Plenty of stuff people have already talked about gets asked about again! I am just saying, no dis at all.
Yeah I know what you mean, and I know stuff like alcohol and"hookups" go on during cruises, not nieve to stuff like that. But its more about whats allowed here on Cruisemates.com. I dont pick the rules, and the sucky part of my job is having to piss people off by editing or telling them what they can or cant post...
I am supposed to delete alcholic posts as soon as they appear, but I know how many people would be mad, not understand why a teen, like me, is deleting these posts, but they never understand its all part of the job as teen host... So I figured I would just warn people and tell them that if they really want an anwser to do a search.
Bro that job sucks, i mean picking what you have to delete to keep the rules of the post enforced. I also understand where you are coming from. Good luck wit it all.
