nextel or not?

My cell phone contract is almost up with t-mobile and my parents are geting my whole family nextels what does everyone think of them?

Stay with T-mobile and get a Sidekick II.

my dad has a nextel throuh work and hes always getting disconnected...depends on where you live though i guess

oh i live in new york but i spend my summers in jersey.... i heard jersey has good receptition

i live in nj. my father and sister have nextel, my mother and i have t-mobile. unless you're going to be doing A LOT of direct connecting, nextel is just not worth it. horrible reception in the tri-state area, expensive plans + phones, phones are bulky, etc

stick with t-mobile, or if you really want to try something new, all my friends w/cingular love it and have great reception!

If you do get a nextel dont turn your speakerphone on it public places... and that beep drives me crazy...

iv'e got the yellow walkie talkie one and it never gives me problems. I've always had good service.

same here .. i always have good reciption .. its never been a problem for me .. nextels are really good because you never waste any minutes or anything by beeping them

we have Push to Talk with Verizon and it is great! Maybe you should look into that

none of my friends have push to talk with verizon R.. but i was wondering can you cherp verizon people from a nextel just wondering i love the cherping on a nextel...

yo i got a nextel i860, i730 and i830 and a i95cl if had nextel for 3 years the service sucks but i love the nationwide direct connect .get nextel u wont regret it

Alot of my friends have Nextels. I hate when people have there speakerphone in publicplaces its annoying. I have cingular BTW.
