Hey, just registered here. I have been looking around at some cruises to take on the mid winter break we have between semesters. I thought it would be best to leave right out of the city since i live in New york. I am a first time cruiser and would like to find out some info on how this ship is. If it is "Teen Friendly". I don't want to go on a 10 night cruise and be stuck with a bunch of seniors baking in the sun. I will be going with 1 or 2 friends of mine as well. If anybody has been on this cruise before...Please give me some advice and what to expect. I want to be able to have some fun with people my age. Also if there are any good clubs that are for young people and stuff like that. Let me know, Thanks.
Jan/Feb. are both off seasons of cruises, that is unless there is some very early spring breaks out there. Also a particluar 10 night sailing might not be to appealing to families with teens. But, you mentioned that 2 friends would be sailing with you, and I think you still would be able to find plenty to do...
I went on the Dawn over Spring Break last year, so I'm sure my expirience was quite different from yours, there were tons of kids on board, but yeah that ship is actually really fun! They did have a pretty cool club and arcade there and there is a lot to do there.
When in Jan/Feb are you going? I'm actually going on that ship again in February on an 11 day cruise in February!
