Yea we were invited on a press cruise for the Freedom, but unfortunatly I was still in school and had finals so i couldnt skip. But i have done my research and i have a friend who did a press cruise on it and both have yielded the same results of it being a Voyager ship thats got some extra amenities and new decor. What really ticked me off was that it didnt get to claim the title of Largest Ship in the world being that it is 1,112 ft long and the QM2 was 1,132 ft. O well

I spent a day on QM2 and it seemed much larger then Freedom, but thats probably because I was so used to the Voyager class ships in size.

Yah, we got to take a 1 night cruise on QM2 a while back and it was unreal! It's like 15 feet longer than the Freedom but the thing thats diff. about QM2 is that A)- theres more public space rather than the freedom having expanded staff/crew areas and B)- theres supposedly more glass on the freedom and it makes you feel as though theres a lot more space. IDC really, i'd take a cruise on either anyday! lol

The QM2 is too formal for me, I am more of a relaxed/lets chill at the pool kind of person, not lets take a trip to the library if you get what I am saying.

I'll agree that QM2 is a bit more formal mainly because of the custome of the country under whose flag it sails but i thinkif you ever sail it that you'll be pleasently suprised how much fun ou can have without "taking too many trips to the library" lol
