i don't know. i went on carnival once and rc once. i met more and better people on rc by farrrrr. but that could just be the time. cuz on carnival i went during christmas. and rc was over the summer. i always meet better people over the summer
The hard thing is I have only ever been on rcl but I have never been on a bad rcl cruise neither have i never met people on those cruises. Although having seen the carnival Legend it looks like a magneficent ship Whichever you choose have a good time

From someone whose exprienced the best of both Royal Caribbean and Carnival i'd persoally say that i have liked my carnival cruises better than the royal caribbean ones because there seems to be a more relaxed atmosphere and teens come on a carnival cruise with different exectations than ones who come on a royal caribbean cruise. The teen directors on carnival usually are better because a club O2 director strictly works with 15-17 y.o teens rather than switching around the program like the directors on RC do. Also the clubs on carnival are located away from the kiddie areas and there is something about having a totally seperate club I will say though that RC does have some cooler clubs especially on its Voyager class ships with Fuel/Optix and Living Room seperate and then The Back Deck, IDK theyre all awesome!

When I was on carnival, they were shoving art auction, bingo, gift shop sales, advertisements over the loud speakers and through flyers. On RCCL they basically said we have tons activities and make the most of it, which was a lot nicer in my opinion.
Agreed, for atmosphere- RC but for teen clubs Carnival all tha way!

I think for attitude rc is great even if you are feeling down on a cruise all it takes is a smile and hey how are ya from one of the crew and it brings a smile to your face, also on mariner, navigator and freedom they have fuel and optix which is great and they are all fitted out with flat screen tvs and computers

All of the ships now have Fuel or Optix and The Living Room. The Voyager and Freedom class ships have the biggest and nicest facilities though.

not quite sure what you mean dj?
When I was on Navigator there was a living room and a fuel
Whereas when I was on Voyager there was only a living room I think
Also I think the teen back deck is a waste of space and on Navigator was scarcly use, rc would be better off having a adventure beach there like on navigator and Mariner

Nope Voyager and all of the Voyager class ships have either Fuel or Optix And The Living Room and me ships have Adventure Beach and others have The Back Deck which I agree is a waste of space because most people would rather tan by the pool than on a secluded back deck. The Mariner doesnt have Adventure Beach though, we have The Back Deck. On the Sovereign of the Seas I know the back deck also houses a basketball court though so it is put to very good use on the Sovereign.

o if they have the seaview cafe the food is great although the opening times are wierd. On the brilliance the food that was served was Italian eg pizza, pasta and pannins but that is only due to it being based in europe, the soverign would probably have burgers and hot dogs

I dont think we have seaview on the Sovereign. All i can think of is the formal dining rooms, Johnny Rockets, Sorrentos, Ben and Jerrys and the Windjammer.

Me? Heck no lol i wish. Sovereign is currently doing 3 and 4 night runs from Port Canaveral Fl. to the Caribbean (Nassau and Coco Cay). We're hoping to do an alaskan cruise for Spring break but if not then we'll be on the Mariner.
