Cruising Tips

What are some tips that you would like to share with everyone? Or perhaps you wish you had brought something on a cruise??

I always pack my lotions and stuff in Zip-Loc bags so that if they spill they dont get all over my clothes!

And, i always bring tons of Zip-Loc bags with me so that way i can take cookies and cinnamon buns home with me!! That kinda streches the cruise feeling out a while!!

Always bring a camera and extra batteries and memories sticks/film!! If you dont bring a camera, youre gonna wish you had to capture all the great memories you had!!

Dont overpack! i ALWAYS do because i think ill wear something and then never do! And i could definetly use that space in my suitcase for bringing home stuff! AND bring an extra suitcase or two! we have ones the fold up nicely and fit inside ours..that way we can bring home lots of stuff with out squeezing and smushing it into our normal luggage!

When your on a cruise be more outgoing than normal, then your sure to meet others and it's a vacation so live it up

Definetly!! Everyone is there to have fun...so have all the fun you can!!!

And dont worry about what you eat/how much you eat! the food is totally one of the best things about a cruise!! especailly the desserts!! so go ahead...have 4 desserts a night!!

be extra outgoing. no one's going to think you're weird if you just randomly go up to them and say hi.

eatt a lotttt. at dinner, have at least one thing of each course maybe more.

just have a greatt time and enjoy it while you're there.

don't forget a camera.
and i think overpacking is a good thing, for me at least. i change like 10 times a day.

yeah i always change my clothes a lot too..but i ALWAYS end up bringing stuff i never wear!

i do too. but i always try to be too careful cuz i hate running out of things.

haha by the end of my last cruise i had run out of a lot of things!! especially tank tops and shorts!!! so yeah..i should buy more shorts before my next cruise cuz i only have like 3 pairs! and thats what i wear out on the island! but now i bought like 2 coverup dresses that are pretty sweet so i can wear those too.

I think the zip-lock bags are a must when your on a cruise, theres so much you will find to put in them. About the cinnamon buns and cookies however, be careful i personally came into close contact with the border protection trying that this summer. If you remember the Amnesty bin right when u get off the ship, where you are supposed to put all food and flowers, well i decided to take a few of the cinnamon buns with me and we got to the exit and the dogs they had in the building freaked and jumped at my suitcase and my family and I almost had to pay a $1000 fine, we just got lucky because the guard remembered us lol! So yea be wary of taking food off the ship. Also I like to pack a small extra beach bag or like mesh bookbag with me because you'll be surprised how much stuff you'll buy and have to figure out how t take off the ship, so it helps to have an extra bag to carry it in. I especially like the Club O2 beach bags that Carnival gives its teens cuz it has the logo on it and it can be packed away in one of those zip-locks lol!

yeah zip-locs are my favorite lol. on all my cruises ive done that and havent gotten caught yet!! but ill watch out for those dogs!

those bags souinds really sweet! on celebrity we got huge beach bags..but then i broke the straps cuz i put too much stuff in it!!

im an over packer too... kind of but sometimes i will pack a little bit lighter and because I am at a certain leval on Princess or my Parents are actually all laundry and dry cleaning is free and the cabin steward does it, also i bring like bottled water on the boat to take of the ship because water is expensive on the ship, also lets see um never brought zip locks i will have to try that, but make sure u buy a soda card if u drink soda its like the best value!!!!!!

on this last cruise. my parents limited us to one large suitcase. and one small suitcase. I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF! so i picked out all my clothes and my friend packed everything for me =]

cuz she loves to pack. now i need her before every vacation.

but oh man that suitcase was like IMPOSSIBLE! i mean it was like huggeee but it was FILLED! and coming home, wow. i was like carrying half my clothes out.

haha yeah we always bring tons of bottles of water...and my dad works foa water company so he gets it all for free! Ever heard of Saratoga Water? Or Splash water?? yeah we get all that lol.

hahah i no! i freakin love to pack. seriosuly ill pack 2 weeks before my cruise because it gets me so excited and then i realize i have no clothes to wear! haha

yeah i have tons of math and global due tom...but ill be doing that during Desperate Housewives tonight. and yeah i was supposed to read a book and write a summary of it?? yeah ill be looking that up online lol

haha yeaaa i always pack the night before. and i'm even worse with homework. plus i have a hugeee article due tomorrow for my school newspaper. and i have no time to do it. i have a hayride to go to tonight.

Pack a serge protector or an extention cord, cause in normal cabins you only have one outlet, two plugs, so with a serge protector you can have like 6 or 7. yeahhhhh.

I cant for get the plug adaptors to American plugs or I wouldnt be able to charge my phone or speakers.
