Mariner of the Seas Dec 24-31

Hi. I was wondering if anyone was going on the mariner of the seasons eastern caribbean cruise from Dec 24-31.

I am so excited cause it is only 1 month away! Has anyone ever been on a cruise during Christmas? If so, did they do anything special?

I really have no clue what they do for Christmas, so I'm really no help.

That's awesome that you are cruising over Christmas though!!! When you get back you need to tell us all about your holiday cruising and if they did anything special during that week! Sounds like so much fun!

i cruised over christmas. and i honestly didn't like it. i missed snow and being with my family. it wasn't the same at all. the cruise was fun, but i wish we wouldn't have went over christmas.

Im actually on the week before yours, it coming so fast!

I love sailing at christmas time mostly. Get out of the cold and have fun in a new place.

i've sailed the week before christmas 4 times. and i lovedddd that. i just never liked going on christmas.

i found some really cheap southern caribbean cruises for the week before christmas in 2007. so i might ask my parents to go as like a christmas present! on the carnival destiny, only $449 and on the legend of the seas for only $599. hmmm maybe they'll let me. doesn't that sound like a good idea?

Sounds like fun! I'm going on my cruise the week after (aka New Years). lol... That should be fun, although I haven't ever cruised over Christmas so I have nothing to compare it to.

I'm pretty excited. I like getting away in winter, cause, well I am from Canada and it gets freezing cold here with so much snow. I love the snow, but it is nice to have a break from it.

It kinda sucks that I leave on Dec. 31... cause I cant be with all my friends partying it up!!!

I'll be on the Mariner from the 24-31, and yes they do quite a bit for the holidays. Theres a huge Christmas tree on the forward end of the promenade deck and lots of decorations throughout the ship. Plus on the first night and usually the 2nd night too they serve RCI's rendetion of Christmas dinner and it is very good. I actually like being on the ship for christmas, now that i've gotten older and our family doesnt try the Santa stuff anymore, its easier to be on the ship for christmas and let them take care of the festivities. I was on the same route during christmas last year and it was a lot of fun! I think you'll really enjoy it. yea i loveee snow. but it is nice to get away. last christmas i wasn't away and i missed it kinda. so i'm excited that i'm going to disney world the week before christmas.

Snow does look really pretty! I wish I had snow during the winter! And I really want the leaves to change colors!

umm snow sucks. and dont even say that the leaves changing colors is a good thing. theyre dying!! ahh!!! i hate winter and fall and spring too!! i def need to live in Florida!!! or the caribbean!!

haha i bought soo many summery shirts on my cruise...and i cant wear them here its like 40 degrees outside!!! ahh!! i miss the 85 degree weather!!

gerrr i wish it was in the 80s!!! like all my clothes are summer clothes!! i hate winter clothes so i dont really buy them and i end up freezing all winter long lol. gahh i hate NY...i need to run away to Florida! anyone who lives there have a spare bedroom??
