For me it is just a weird situation cause when I go on my cruise it will be just over a month before I turn 18, so I just make it in to the teen program. Maybe that will be a good thing,maybe not. I will see how it goes.

The teen program does sound fun though. Plus there are always benefits to being the oldest. I love it in highschool now, cause like the younger kids all move out of your way and stuff. Its pretty funny.

For you, being almost 18 works both ways!! You can hang out in the teen club and hopefully theres some cool people there!! But if not, you could also hang out with like the 18-20 year olds since your almost 18!!

on my last cruise we hung out with 17 year olds going to be seniors. but there also were 17 year olds hanging out in my sister group that was like 18-21. so it really doesnt matter. but im like immature for my age which is probably why i hang out with younger people so id probably rather hang out with the teens. plus i dont even drink and thats all that group does.

Yeah, I definitely agree with that one. I need to cruise before it gets to be Partay Partay with tons of alcohol! Another reason for my parents to take me on more cruises now... "I want to make good decisions Mom and Dad and that's why you need to take me on another cruise."

Bri...haha!!! but by the time youre that age you will probably be going with friends from college or your boyfriend so you worry about making friends like that! unless you want to!

right now...is a perfect time to cruise. we can have all the fun without the alcohol....plus being able to remember everything!! and were making friendships that will last a lifetime!!! with people all over the country! (world even!!).

Like Lizzie said about getting wasted and stuff later on. That would be the most boring pointless cruise EVER for me if that's all the people onboard around my age did. Sober fun anyone?!?!

The great thing about cruising is that it is fun at any age. Though I agree, I rather have the experience while I am young, and no one expects you to be all responsible.

I personally, think drinking is a waste of my life on the cruise. If i wanted to (i woundnt cuz i dont drink) i could drink my ass happy at home. I think u have more fun when ur sober cuz a. u can remember it the next day and b. u can go right to the next adventure without a hangover holding u back!

ahh BRI !!! you just rememinded me of this guy who was like 22 and trying to hang out with the teens!! he was there with his girlfriend/wife and he kept trying to sneak into the Loft and play videogames!! it was very funny...and he was mad hott lol.

cuz i wanna get married early so like i have like hmmm.. like 6 years to enjoy my fun. and only 1 and a half for highschool fun!

ahh i have 2 1/2 years for HS fun still haha.

but thats a reason for just me and my mom to go! like i only have so many years left until im off to college and have my own life and no more family cruises!! (well ill just tell her that..but will really go on the family cruises when im 30 and married). and my sisters are young..they wont really remember the cruises and they have more years!!

At first I was looking forward to go off to university, but now since I just applied and stuff, I just want to slow it down for a bit. In just less than 2 months I will be 18, which again I was excited about, but I am not ready to become an "adult".

Everyone should make sure they cherish their time in high school, cause it really doesn't last that long. The teen years are definately the best years of life!

yeaa as much as i loveee being a kid. being a teen is awesome. i love the whole guy deals when all you do is like talk about guys all day long. yes i did that when i was little. but if you like someone when your little nothing happens. but in HS, something could. you know what i mean?!

thats why i lovee cruising as a teen. the whole guy situationnnn! haha its so trueeeeeee.

and highschool is going by sooo fast i still feel like a freshman. just last week i was tardy and when i signed in, i put 9th as my grade by accident.

Well when we were younger we cared, we just acted like all shy and stuff about it.

The reason I think the teen years are the best is cause I had fun as a kid, but I don't remember it all. I can remember like everything that happened as a teen. I am definately not looking forward to being a "responsible" adult, so I am gonna use this last cruise before I turn 18, to have fun, be irresponsible/carefree. Than back to highschool to work hard so I can get into the university I want.
