ahh kelsey im soooo excited for you!!!! you are going to have such a good time and im sure you will get lost the first day or two...but after that you will know the ship like the back of your hand!!! and you will meet people!! ahhhh have fun!!!!

ohhh thats excitingggg. usually i dont get too lost on ships cuz all the big ones i go on are like all the same layout so i know my way around. and the other ones are the tiny ships which are so easy no matter what even though i study that ship layout like crazy. haha you will meet people and have a good time =]

both my parents have like 3 weeks off for xmas so im trying to get them to go somewhere!!!! cross your fingers haha

I know what you mean about getting lost. People think it is hard to get lost on a cruise ship, but I can get lost anywhere. Though the nice thing is there are lots of people to help you, and with so many people, you are bound to make some great friends!'

If you get lost...just ask!! Crew members are soooo nice and helpful!! And they know the ship the best too!!

the first time i went on a big ship i was always lost but then i got used to it and went on that ship again. and another ship with the same layout.

when i think back i liked the costa romantica the best. it was like 55,000 tons which is pretty small but like medium sized for me. which i like cuz its so much easier to find people on smaller ships. i liked the layout of it. it was so basicccc. and i just loveddd it =] plus its costa.

but yea on the carnival miracle (which i consider big 85,000) it would take me like an hour or so to find people! CRAZY! but on the last one, the second i got out of dinner i saw my friends. if not, all i had to do was like go to my cabin after dinner and they knew i would always go there and they would knock on my door. and i loveddd it. i was like never ever by myself.

hmmm... I never got lost... after the first day and a half all my friends and I knew where everything was for the most part.

i remember when i was 10 and went on the costa atlantica they gave us 9-11 year olds a tour of the ship on the first day at sea. and i met my two best friends (during the cruise) on it. and i remember i had to pee really bad the whole time.

haha... I like how you add that you had to pee the whole time!

The hardest part is meeting up with people on such a big ship. Usually the first night we will all agree on a place to meet the next morning. So we just hang out there until everyone wakes up and hang out and EAT! lol

haha i know but i remember that cuz they made it worse by pointing out that there was an ocean. aka water. aka I HAD TO PEE!

haha i hate making plans!! thats why i hate big shipsss. like honestly though i can never remember a time on my last cruise that i walked around by myself looking for people. except one time i couldnt find them but i found my sister and she said they were looking for me but they were on the deck so i just went up there and there they were =]

That's good that you met up with everyone though. Hopefully that's how it will be for me on my next cruise. I can't stand being alone!

If i was on a cruise and didnt make any friends....i dont know what i would do!!!! hang out with my family??!?! probably haha. but my mom is really fun so thats ok. but its nice having people your own age to interact with....having stuff in common like music and GUYS. haha.

hahah Bri!!! you should have asked where the bathrooms were since it was a tour of the ship!!!

yeaaa on my carnival miracle cruise i didnt meet anyone til the 2nd night! so the first day at sea i like hung out with my family. dumbbbbbbbbbbb. and ate. not so dumbbbbbb. but on my last cruise, our like first day together felt like the last cuz we were already unbelievably close. like im still in shock about how close we were.

ahh i hate not being able to find people! it literally can take up half your night. thats why big ships are so annoying sometimes!

That's the reason why we agreed on "meeting places." As dumb as they sound they were really helpful. We always hung out at the same certain spots so if you couldn't find anyone you would just wait at one of the usual places or lounges we hung out at and people would show up within 5 minutes. Pretty handy dandy stuff!

Well yeah, cruise ships are big. But a lot of the floors are rooms. You will probaly only use about 5 floors (usually) that you will actually hang out, eat, live! lol.... it won't be as complicated as it sounds once you get there. Promise! It's like high school, it seemed big at first then after the first day you realize it's not that complicated. Same thing.

i hate meeting places. we attempted on our last cruise but it totally didnt work. we did like twice and we like lost each other and got split up. haha yeaaaa.
