Retail is good to start out with. New minimum wage is $7.15 as of Janurary 1st 2007

so to save $1000.00 you would have to work about 140 hours, so from now to june which is 5 months is about 28 hours per month which is about 7 hours a week. Not too bad at all. When the holiday season came I was working about 25 hour weeks. I love christmas

As for cars? Jetta sounds good, my dad has a saab which is kinda cool. All I really want is one with manual transmission. aka stick shift.

Kris, the new Nissan Altima is a great choice. It just got redesigned for the 2008 model year, and it got second place in a Car & Driver Magazine comparison of 20k-ish sedans this month. Its a more sporty alternative to cars like the Camry and Accord. Great car!

Hmm...best suv would have to be the Toyota RAV4. With the V6 engine it's super quick for an SUV, and it's a Toyota so it'll never break down. And they're safe, too. My stepmom got into an accident in a RAV4 5 years ago...she ran straight into the back of a huge conversion van stopped on a high way entrance ramp. Hit it at 40 mph, got out without as much as a bruise from the airbag.

Okay... back to the topic which is your craziest cruise stories. I was just on a cruise so I have a couple stories now.

There was this really old (she said she was 82 years old) lady on my ship. In the evenings she would drink like CRAZY and would get super drunk. This lady walked around and came over to the group of kids I was sitting with (about 12 of us at the time) and started dancing like crazy dancing doing hip thrusts and everything. She told us that in a couple of years (once we were legal) we could dance like her (trust me she danced nastier then any teen or young adult I have ever seen). Then she flashed everyone and left! It was so weird! Don't get drunk... especially when you are 82! lol

Yeah ... by the time that she flashed everyone (in a public area) I was so grossed out I didn't even know what had happened. The first hip thrust thang she did in the beginning was was enough for me to stop watching.

That is one experience I don't want to have again. lol

omggg thats insane!!!

and a reason not to drink!! omg!!!! EW! my eyes would have been burned out. or i would have taken pics and have been like..."this was the drunk 82 year old lady...she belongs in a padded room so she doesnt throw out her hips from thrusting, and should be sedated." lol!!

there was a reall weird old lady on my cruise too. like she would be the only one dancing every night..and had the weirdest hair ever. like really short..like guy hair..but a couple long pieces that were like wrapped and beaded. gahhh!

Ahhh! It was horrible! It happened on probaly around the 4th or 5th night. Gross!

And yes Kris, she needs to be locked in a padded room WITHOUT alcohol!!!! lol

im not too into drinking either..it doesnt bother me when pppl do it around but im around high enough on life so im all good

yea i dont like drinking. i think its pointless. i hate it actually. at my school, you either love it or hate it. cuz half the school is like an alcoholic. so if you dont drink you most likely hate it.

i cant even count how many times people ask me if im drunk. so why do i need it?

yeaa me too. im so oddddd. and a lot of people at my school hate me for it. cuz im so weird, hyper loud, & talkative. but honestly i havent met anyone outside school that doesnt like me. so basically i hate my school!
