haha im off from school from feb 17-march 5!! cuz my cruise is the week after our winter break!! yessss. haha i have to like tell my teachers now though so i can get work!!!

Don't you have a passport Kris??? Cuz I think you have to have one to get in and out of the US now. Im not positive for Caribbean but I know you do for Canada

I dont have a passport (yet).You only need one if travelling internationally by air. So i dont need one since im going by sea!!

and having a photo id would be much easier to get on and off the ship and through the checkpoints with haha. hopefully this weekend or tomorrow!! idk but soon!!!

i was going to but silver heels. but my mom wont let me and says i have enough heels and can make do with what ive got. gahh

and i cant wait to sail on Costa!! ive wanted to for ages!! ive been reading forums about it...and i found out that theres Theme Nights. one is a toga night! and yayy im bringing tons of accessories!! and then an Italian night where you have to wear red green or white and i have an awesome green dress i will be wearing! and a tropical night...i have an orange and yellow sundress that will work!!! im so excited!!!!

The big poofy ones are expensive! But you're right they are definitely something that everyone notices and you will look the best out of everyone!

Kris' pink dress looks like a dressy shirt. lol... it just doesn't look long enough to be a dress that's all (especially if you're 5'9'' ) lol

ok since i've been on costa.. i'll help you out.

1. practically all nights are themed. and they have dance parties at dinner all of these nights. you get to know the dancers and singers a lot more on costa cruises because they're EVERYWHERE! always singing and dancing during dinner and stuff. and i loveee the themed nights. the tropical party on deck is really fun and they have cool drinks.
*one of my costa cruises, we became friends with this one bartender in a lounge that like NO one knew about so we would go there every night and hang out with him. he'd do magic for us and give us free drinks, even at the tropical party*
italian theme night was always my favorite cuz they gave us cool masks and stuff kinda like mardi gras looking. and they'd have italian themed games like bocce ball in the atrium and stuff. so cool!
and toga night was ALWAYS my favorite. they would give you the sheets for your toga and pictures of ways to wear it. my dad even bought special rope sandals for costa cruises. and they have a roman theme the whole night during dinner and the shows.

2. the cabins are biggg. like the size of carnivals i guess. so the inside will not be tiny! so don't worry about that, even though you're never in your cabin anyways.

3. so many iternational people. you're going to meet people from all over. most of the people who go the teen club are english speaking but if you go up to people around the ship, then you might come across someone who doesn't speak english. there were TONS!!!

4. teen club is VERY laid back. i was 11 on my last one and i went into the teen club and they never checked my age or anything and let us in there. cuz we hung out with my sister and my friends sister and another girl inbetween our ages as a group so we all wanted to go together. they give you disco times every night. i think before midnight, but after that its 18 and over "they say" sometimes. im not even sure. but we've always gone in there and no one checks at all and barely any adults are dancing anyways.

5. FOOD IS AMAZING!! best food ever. they add on an extra course of an italian pasta dish every night. so you get to eat more. its like betweent eh size of an appetizer and entree. so just have all like 7 courses. the course is called "little italy"

6. they also have like amazing nonalcoholic drinks! ahh theres like a huge menu of them and there all so good! try the jurassic park. it's green but i loved ittt. if you like pinapple juice and lime flavoring than you will.

7. um costa decor is more classy, than fun! unlike ships like carnival or royal caribbean. cuz a lot of europeans go on it and they relax more on vacations rather than LETS BE OUTRAGEOUS ACTIVE! like on rccl where there are like a million things to do.

8. they announce EVERYTHING in a different language. the elevators talk to tell you what deck your on, and the first language they do it in is NOT english.

speaking of cabins...we got our number today!!! its 7308!!! which is on deck 7...Perugino...not 1 like my mom expected since we booked a guaranteed cabin. and its right near the elevators!

ill prolly go to the teen disco..and if no ones dancing ill go to the adult one. and i look over 18 so i dont think ill be thrown out. and ill be with my mom prolly haha.

thats awesome!! i could live off pasta and sauce!! and i heard they have gelato?? ive never tried it but heard it is AMAZING!!

so i was trying on my dressed today. and shoes and jewelry and getting my outfits ready. i know im not cruising for 2 more weeks...but that got me soo excited!! im thinking of getting my suitcase out too. and then filling it up. because i can!! its mad cold here so i can pack all my shorts and tank tops and skirts cuz im not wearing them anyways!! i think im going to wear a pair of jeans and hoodie there (were flying out the am of the cruise) and bring a pair of jeans too incase of rainy weather...and its AC and i get cold easy haha. ahhhhh i cant wait!
