I ALWAYS bring every bikini I own, and every cute skirt as well. Ooh, and tanks. Don't forget a dress for formal night, and cute pjs for when you and all your friends you meet hang out in each others rooms late at night watching movies and.....whatever else haha!

Heyy! I just started packing for my cruise (leaving in 10 days...!) on the 31st...

Well I haven't really made a list but I'll semi-start here...

Bikinis (I'm bringing 2)
Cover-up for grabbing lunch (I just bought this cute white skirt)
Flip Flops (cutest pair of adidas, they're memory foam and PINK!)
Day outfit (for before dinner, wandering around the ship, ports)
Dinner Outfits, shoes, accessories
Formal Outfits, shoes, accessories
After dinner outfits (skirts, cute tanks, etc)
Cute pajamas, (I totally forgot to buy some.. I think i'm gonna have ugly ones!! oh no!)
Jeans or Sweats, and a jacket if you're cold
Umm 'under-garments'... haha

Make up (if you plan on tanning, maybe darker than usual)
A purse if you want one
Hair stuff (pony tails, clips, curling iron, straightener, hair gel, hair spray, scrunching stuff, shampoo, conditioner)
Lotion! (Sun and After sun!)
Body Spray or Perfume
Money
Umm an extension cord
Beach Bag?
a camera

Don't pack stuff you won't use, don't stress over packing, and don't forget to have fun!

My advice is to over pack. I ALWAYS overpack.. and then I still use everything. Pretty much, you'll find a way to wear everything you bring. If you're too picky with what you bring you'll never have any choices.

gahhhhhhhh DONT OVERPACK!!!!!!!
that is one thing you will regret!! i know i always do!!
cuz its so hard trying to stuff all your clothes in your suitcase and all your souvineers...when just your clothes hardly fit!!!
so only pack the necessities....and you can always rewear shorts/skirts. dont even bring jeans....but you can wear a pair on your way to the ship...jeans take up tons of room in a suitcase!! i brought 2 pairs and didnt even wear them!!!

and def plan all your dinner outfits ahead of time. and dont forget your formal dresses, shoes, and jewelry!

one thing i usually forget is belts. if you cant wear something without a belt..dont forget it!

sunscreen!!!! being sun burned is the WORST.

at least 2 pairs of old navy (or similiar) flip flops...mine always break!!

camera, phone, iPod, and all their chargers/batteries/memory cards

sunglasses and hat.

some pictures of you pets! people love seeing those.

pack your beauty stuff in zip-lock bags..that way incase they leak they wont get all over your clothes!

sticky notes..for leaving notes on your whereabouts for your parents.

thats all i can think of for now!!

soo on the valor theres a lot of good food! there is a sushi bar on the promenade deck (by all the clubs). the food in the main dinning rooms is also realllllllllly good. if you have been on a carnival ship before, you will notice some familar stuff on the menus. then there is the lido deck restaurant which is more of a buffet style but it is huuuuuge. there is a deli section where they make you any kind of grilled or not grilled sandwich you want, then there is a chinese section, 24 hour pizza (which is SOOOOOO good), a barbeque grill place (outside by the pool), upstairs in the buffet there is a fish section which has like calamari and shrimp and other good fish dishes, and then there is all the regular buffet stuff which changes everyday. then there is room service which has food 24 hours a day, and theres also a supper club (but it cost 30 dollars) and its nicer dinning than the dinning room. you definitely will not go hungry!

omg i say DO OVERPACK!!!
i pack about 4 outfits a day.
one during the day. shorts, tanks, skirts.
one for dinner. skirts. dresses.
one for after dinner. cute tops. skirts. JEANS!

i always pack jeans because it gets cold around the ship at night. cuz of the airconditioning. so i always wear jeans at night with like a fancy shirt or tank or something.. or i'm just a freeze baby and you can skip packing jeans.

and then the 4th outfit it like EXTRA outfits just in case. whenever i pack certain outfits for like each day when the cruise actually comes, i'll like change my mind and be like i dont wanna wear this. so always pack extra just in case you change your mind. or you get an outfit dirty. or something. cuz that always happens. i usually end up wearing almost everything.

sweatpants are good. for when you and your friends have sleepovers. i always changed out of my night outfits at like 3. and wore sweatpants until i went to bed. at like 5ish. cuz like around that time we were always watching a movie or just laying down talking. and eating room service of course.

umm if you THINK you're gonna use and you're not sure PACK IT!! cuz if you end up needing it, you'll be so mad you didnt bring it. i never forget anything cuz i always pack whatever i think i might need.

Here's another vote for the DO OVERPACK!

It always looks like "too much" but you will end up wearing everything between changing from dinner, to excursions, to hanging out, to pool/hot tub time, etc.

Yes, you can wear the same thing, but after a long excursion and you are hot and sweaty you just want to take a shower and never put on the nasty pair of shorts and t-shirt you wore on shore. lol

Everyone else pretty much mentioned anything and everything you would want to take (plus whatever you normally use to get ready with). Just take some extra baggies in case you have a wet bathing suit that you have to pack, also some sort of bag for your PJ's and night stuff from the last night (when you have to give up your luggage you only have one outfit for the next day, and if you don't have some sort of bag to put your PJ's and get-ready stuff into before departing your cabin you have to carry it off the boat until you find you luggage... eeks! )

Have a great cruise!

i always over-pack but sometimes its good and sometimes its bad. its good cause i always change my outfits during teh course of the day. its bad casue sometimes i dont wear some of the stuff when i could be saving room in the suitcase for souvieners(sp?) and stuff. my advice is to pack not too much but not too little. a happy medium.

I always think i have so much stuff to take, but then i manage to squeeze it all into one carryon suitcase. i guess that because i dont take 23 pairs of shoes and my entire bathroom....

i have one HUGE suitcase, that i fit my clothes in, then another one which is a little smaller one for shoes then a smaller one then that for make-up and hair stuff and that kinda stuff.

But my mom got mad at me because I took to much! Oh welll I needed it.

whenever we drive im only allowed to take one big suitcase and two small ones cuz we need room in the car. but when we fly i have NO LIMITS! WOO HOO!!

i totally agree about taking all your fav outfits. its the best way to pack.
when i went too colorado for the WEEKEND i wanted to pack 7 outfits to wear at night even though we were only there for 3 nights. my mom got so mad and made me pick 3, well i ended up not even liking some of them. so yeaa. thats why you need to pack all your favorites.

mike i dont understand. one carry on?!?!

when i come home from cruises before i unpack. isnt your room and bathroom COMPLETELY EMPTY!!?!?!

i had to go somewhere the night i came back from my cruise. and i had nothing to wear, so i had to search thru my suitcase to find the one shirt i didnt wear on my cruise.

Well I dont actually carry it on the plane. But it's in a rolling bag that could fit in the overhead bin.

And if i have overflow stuff i just put it in a backpack or with my parents' cases.

I say over pack!

I alway over pack and it works out great.
Just make sure you leave a little bit of room for things you buy.
or if you really dont have room then put some of the stuff you buy in your carry on.

ohh and if your hair is kinda blah unless you to do something to it (straighten, curl, etc.) make sure you bring those things. you might want to bring both of them just incase your best friend decides to use your straightener while you're in the shower, and break it in half. =[

but all the stuff you guys metioned is pretty much it. its not that hard packing... just grab your whole summer wardrobe, throw it in a suitcase, and you're done!
