Default Its Official: RCI Owns The Liberty of the Seas

As noted in the "Cruise News" Section on the main page RCI is now in posession of the brand new sister ship to the Freedom of the Seas, the Liberty of the Seas. As i predicted in the thread regarding the youth Crown and Anchor program, it includes cheesy incentives and coupons! Yay! HOWEVER I'm looking forward to one of these cruises featuring the Scratch DJ 101 classes. Being a DJ and a DJ who has skill on his equipment i'd love to show off and even learn. Perhaps this means that the DJ booth on the LOTS will be more than a cheap computer playing tired songs!! Anyone else got comments on the LOTS!?!

This is my dream to go on it!!! Ive been following it for years and i love the concept and the look (plus the destinations). The 5 mil seems a bit high, I remember one bedroom suites going for 1.3 mil or close to that.

I toured The World... pretty cool ship, but too small. I'd get bored.

i went on freedom ots(obviosuly sister to liberty) and it was soooo cool. it was soo huge. i like big ships too. theres so mucht to do! i thought it was cool on freedom becasue they had two sets of glass elevators across from each other. it was really wide too. i loved it.

im excited for the genesis project too. we went on some lunch thing last spring on freedom before we cruised on it and talked to some lady who was in charge of lots of stuff at RCI. she said its supposed to be huuuuggggeee. im really exicted for it.

Supposedly the Liberty is different in quite a few aspects like the promenade being one but idk. And yeah, anyone who has seen the documentary on The World knows they make it look big but when it was in port in Aruba with us last year it looked about the size of a Fantasy or Sovereign class ship, not small but too small to live on. Granted everyone knows i could live on the Fantasy!
