Default dinner seatingss

which do you prefer? early or late.. or do u not eat at all... lol like you just go to the buffet instead.

i dont know which one to choose anymore... this year we originally got late but then switched to early. i kinda wanna stick to later seating now.. oh well.

We prefer the late seating.

Sometimes the shows are before, and sometimes after dinner. Plus when you get back from port its better to have late so your not so rushed.

Plus most of the people I always meet have late seating anyway, so it works out!

well on the crown princess we had anytime dinning..so it kinda worked out because whenever most of the people i hung out with went to dinner i would tell my mom i was ready to eat..

but i missed the same waiter everynight and dinning with other people, since usually we sat a a table for 4..but this time on Explorer we get a table of 10 yay!!!

But i just like late better also because i have a late lunch, and im never hungry early anyway!
So both have pro's and cons!

but anyway the past 2 years i went with relatives so we had to sit with them...my mom didnt want to leave them. but honetsly i really didnt mind.. cause like i see family during the day at the ports. and like yeah its enough.

my mom likes to do late. cause then you can stay on the islands longer. but theres really only one or two late nights in port. i would prefer earlier. i always leave dinner before dessert because i wanna hangout with everyone. all my family wasnt getting out till 10:30. i always left around 10 though

yea me and my sister usually leave early from dinner too. cuz sometimes we dont even get dessert. if theres nothing i want. so we'll just leave, change and then go up to the buffet and eat more of the food we liked from dinner.

I ate at the early seating. It made more sense then to wait a long time for dinner every night, and we could enjoy the nightlife more without worrying if we would miss dinner.

i think that theres advantages and disadvantages for both early and late

my mom always does early which means i dont have alot of time to get ready for dinner especially if we are in port. but then you get out early and have the rest of the night to just hang out

if you do late seating you have more time at ports and to get ready but by the time u get out of dinner your friends are already doing stuff and its sometimes hard to find them.

it depends i had anytime dining last time which worked
im doing late for my next one

yeah plus there was only two other people who had late seatign so there was barly people to hang out with before i have dinner. then everyone who hang out while was at dinner and i deff missed out on stuff. i feel like late dinners should be for older couples whitout kids.

It depends on the itinerary.

For a cruise that pulls out of each port around 5pm...i would want early seating. that way i can come back from port...get showered..an get ready for dinner.

For a cruise that leaves ports late (or stays overnight...BERMUDA!!) i would want the late dinner. that way you can stay onshore longer and not have to worry about missing dinner.

but of course before going to dinner i check the menu...if nothing sounds that great i will just grab something at the buffet. and i hate sitting in dinner for 2+ hrs everynight when i could eat in 15 min and then go have fun!

Yeah, I had late seating last time, which I liked because mostly everyone I hungout with had the same and we would all just meet at someones table after desert, then try and make the night club. If not, then we would just go hangout.

I don't know what we are doing for this cruise.. but the one night we are in mexico late, so i doubt we will go to dinner that night anyway. But I mean I kinda want late, just because im used to it. but if everyone else has early then it sucks.

yea one time everyone had late and i was the only one with early. but i would just go online for like 10 minutes after dinner and after i changed and stuff. then walked around and stuff.

early dining sucks during winter only because you miss the sunset. in the summer it happens after dinner so it's okay.

if dinner's running late. and theres something i want for dessert. i would just go to the buffet and get it seeing as its the same menu.
