Hey man, you're really going to like the Radiance of the Seas. Its one of the most unique ships on the sea. Starting off, if you keep your eyes peeled, there is a special that runs on Travel Channel about once a month or so about the Radiance while it was on its Alaskan itinerary. This won't help you with your ports but it will give you a feel for the ship.
The Radiance of the Seas has many of RCI's standards for their larger Voyager class ships and some things that are (or were at least) unique to the Radiance class only. such as the pool tables that made a big hit in the industry. To answer your first question, there are a multitude of dining options on the ship. First of all there is the formal dining room in which you will have the opportunity to have a 5 star meal every night of your cruise at your designated time. In addition to this theres Johnny Rockets at Sea, a 50's style diner that offers burgers, fries, shakes and the like for a nomial fee of $3.95 per person, per dining experience. (The shakes are extra) But everything else is worth it because you can order as much of everything you want. Also, they offer 2 supper clubs: Chops Grille and Portofino (Italian) which should suit you fine. The cost for these dining experiences is $20.00 per person but it is WELL worth it. In my oppinion, these resturants have the best food i've ever had on any ship. If none of the above has what your tastebuds desire, check out the Windjammer Buffet or Sorrentos Pizza. Also, check out purchasing the soda sticker. It costs $48.00 for you, for the duration of your cruise and is well worth it if you drink soda. The package allows you to have unlimited soda, juice, tea and water (juice, tea, and water are free anyway).
As far as other activities go, theres the fitness center, pools, jungle themed solarium, and various other activity centers. The teen club on the Radiance is called Optix and combines a "hang zone" and electrifying nightclub into one cool club! Optix is located on deck 12 midship right off of the aft elevators.
The ports you have in your itinerary are really nice ones. The options in your first port, San Juan, Puerto Rico never really struck me as all that great, its more of a departure port to me than a port of call. The 2nd port however, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas is gorgeous! My recommendation is to go to one of the local beaches and just chill. Also the Sky Ride is very popular and breathtaking! You WILL get a tan here. St. Thomas, part of the US Virgin Islands is also rumored to be the best in shopping anywhere. If you want jewelry, liquor or rum cakes, St. Thomas is the place to get it. St. Johns, Antiqua is very similar to St. Thomas, same recommendation. St. Maarten is probably my favorite island in the Caribbean. If you want to take an excursion, take the St. Martin Beach Rendezvous, which takes you from the port to Orient Beach. Orient Beach is probably the nicest beach i've ever been to in the world. Its littered with little quaint beach bars and welcoming locals. A bit of warning though it is a clothing optional beach and the locals will be wearing one thing and one thing only: Their birthday suit and some are more ironed out than others (if u get wat i'm saying). Nassau, my recommendation is to go to Cable Beach and the Wyndham Resort. If your parents want to gamble, they can do so in the on-site Crystal Palace Casino and the pools, water slides and beaches are open to the public. I've included a link to your specific cruise's page which also includes your itinerary (in case you havent seen it) and from there you can look at other shore excursions. Good luck and happy sailing!
