Scuba Diving During Your Cruise?

Has anyone ever scuba dived on a shore excursion? I'm pretty sure I'm going to do an open water certified dive but I'm not sure if I need to bring my own equipment or not or if the rental's are any good? Also out of these 3 what is the best place to dive: Bermuda, St. Thomas, or Grand Turk? Any help is much appreciated!!

my mom dives on every cruise we go on. she always scubadives. my sister did with her in bermuda. they liked it.

uhh they are going to in st. thomas on our next cruise.

but i think grandturk would probably be the best. i dont know why, but i think isn't it just a diving town pretty much?

well I just found out that I'm diving on St. Thomas, I think its gonna be awesome!!

St. Thomas is awesome, but Grand Turk is much better. Theres a LOT of port traffic in St. Thomas that even miles out can disturb the reefs and ecosystems whereas Grand Turk has some of the cleanest, calmest (traffic-wise) waters i've ever dived. Make sure you have your PADI card with you or you'll be diving with a snorkel! Lol
