Ugh I am pretty leanient, but I hate it when teen stand in the DJ booth. I usually kick them out. A majority dont know how to use the stuff, mess it up and it just sucks. It all really depends on the group. Some are cool and just know what to do from the start, and we just DJ the music, but then some just sit there, look lame, and request Pop Lock and Drop it 10 times in a row.

Basically if the party is going, I will DJ and mix, but if its just some dorks sitting in a circle I am just going to hit next. Thats my honest answer!

Sensations is effy, its like half Coke/O2 and half old style. Not sure about Fantasy though.

Well, I also know most of the directors or e-mail them before I come on their ship to see whether or not they'd like me to bring my collection. I use the same format of music that the ships use, Promo Only but I have 6 different subscriptions giving me a wider variety of music in addition to my prior experience mixing. I can understand a Club directors reservations about letting teens touch the boards. The Rane systems they have on the ships are generally expensive systems and someone who isn't trained can easily screw the system up. Thats why many directors don't let people touch the gear. I get to because I know what I'm doing and have generally already met the director and techs on the ship. As far as me DJing and everyone else having a good time, it doesn't affect me. If i'm performing for a crowd and i'm getting an awesome response then yeah i'll stay up there cuz i can have just as good of a time in the dj booth spinnin as on the dance floor and sometimes i'll toss in one of my mashup CDs that has a mix of like 3-4 hot songs already beatmixed together (we call it a cheat disc) and i'll go out and dance with someone for a song or 2. If i'm DJing then for the time being its on my shoulders to make sure the ppl i'm performing for have a good time and as long as theyre partying down, i'm having a good time.

haha we have this cd, it was made for my birthday party
and we put it in this pass it on card tradition we started a long time ago
and whoever's birthday it is gets the card, plus the cd, and any presents you wanna give them. the birthday person is obligated!!
to play track 20 first once they get the cd.

does anyone know alot about the carnival fantasy's club 02?

Its not exactly huge, but its Small, Hot, Dark and Loud. I've had all my firsts on that ship and most in that teen club. Their DJ booth was just revamped about a year ago and if theres someone who knows how to work it, it can pump out a sick mix. They have XBox360, PS2 and Wii onboard and a decent variety of games. It is located on Promenade Deck aft inside the photo gallery and connects to the arcade and casino. The theme used to be spirals so the door has swirls all over it. They have a new Plasma screen TV outside the door thats supposed to highlight the activities but it just has the logo. They have a decent sized bar in the center and a comfy red makeout couch in the back. The dancefloor is small but when its packed- major grindage. The light show is pretty decent and was justr updated, depending on the director it can get pretty dark and sexy. They don't serve drinks and do not have a working bar. Anything else you wanna know?

Theres usually a party starting at 9:00pm except on Deck Party night, which is usually over after the DP.

The Carnival Dream club O2 was so much fun. The tow guys who run the club act like teens themselves and are cool about everything. I would say the club is a decent size with different rooms inside the club. The DJ plays up to date music and the activities were how you could tell which people you wanted to hangout with during the cruise. Overall good time.
