Default New York City

Next weekend I'm going to New York City, what are some fun things to do there?

We're skating at Central Park, because we did Rockefeller Center last year.

We've looked at things but there are so many that we can't decide.

There will be at least 3 of us but it could be 5 or 7 too, we aren't sure yet.

Any ideas?? (especially Joe!! cuz you like live there!)

We did the whole shopping thing last time, and then the time before we went to Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, and the Seaport.

We're thinking about going to the UN because thats what I want to do after college, but it depends on how many people go.

We can't really see a show because of the stagehand strike

We found a harbor cruise thats a possibilty too.

Do you know any good restaurants?

Good for lunch is the second avenue deli on 2nd and 16th(?) its down far, but not sure exactly where. Greenfields in Queens is a little on the pricier side, but nonetheless a great eat as well. In Manhattan for dinner 6th street has great Indian food as well as some nice restaurants in the area. Other things to see, you might want to see Astoria Park and the hell gate bridge area in Queens. In Manhattan the possibilities are ENDLESS. You can pretty much do anything you want.

AH YOU HAVE TO GO TO DYLANS!

and i totally forgot about the strike... it sucks because all of the shows are sold out to the max at this time of the year. if they are filming TRL (not sure if they do it on the weekends), you should try and get tickets. The harbour cruises are fun too.

some restaurants....
  • tavern on the green
    the rainbow room
    biche
    the odeon
    the hardrock cafe
    paul and jimmys
    shake shack

We skated at Central Park, which was freezing because it was snowing really hard, but fun.

Then we went to Patsy's for pizza, and afterwards we went to Dylans (which has amazing cupcakes!!), and then we went to Bloomingdales.

after that we took the subway to times square and walked around there, and then we went to Rockefeller Center and that area!
