Welcome to cruisemates,

The wonderful question of alcohol has been asked many times by teens just like yourself.

The best way I think is to buy it at the stops, transfer it into a different container, and place it into your bags when you carry it onboard. If you have smaller little bottles you can put them in your pockets with no problems. It always depends on your ship and the security on it. Having a 21 year old friend always works too, haha

Thanks, I was acutally thinking of just putting a bottle of it in my suitcase or will they take it away does anyone know from experience...

Another question is I do have someone who is coming on the trip that won't mind buying me a bottle of alchy but is it possible for someone to buy a bottle on board and take it back to their room!!!

Welcome to cruisemates! I'm Michael.

Alcohol, as far as I know, is really easy to get onboard...waterbottles is the usual way to do it. If you have really tough parents you can always buy it off people once you get onboard from people; it is just a matter of knowing all the right people.

Water bottles don't work as well anymore since the indians have figured it out. Putting a bottle in ur suitcase is just dumbass since its not allowed by ANYONE and thus would show up and be confiscated during the pre-boarding screening. The best thing to do is buy mini-bottles in port with NO METAL in their bottle design then just throw em in cargos and walk thru security like nothings happening.

You're going on Carnival Victory to Canada, right? Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. John, New Brunswick?

I hate to point out, just as much as I hated to find out last year when I was 18 and on Carnival Victory, the drinking age in those provinces of Canada is 19. It's 18 in Ontario and Quebec, and 19 in the rest of the country. Unless they changed it in the past year. Good luck if you still try, I had no luck last year though.

And the drinking age on the ship is 21.

Also, when you buy a bottle of alcohol on the ship you do not get it until the end of the cruise. You can only buy individual drinks of alcohol...

if you can have a little bit of self control, and maybe some strong cologne you probably won't be caught, just try not to fall all over the place lol

it's harder than you think to tell apart a drunk kid and a stupid immature one

if you're gonna bring it on board either just pack some in a listerine bottle/water bottle (they can't go sniffing your random hygiene products, they'd only confiscate liquor in their original bottles, and even if they take it they give it back at the end)

yeah....... haha

"im so coollllll i can drink!!!!!!!!!!! ahhh man lets get sooooo drunk so people will think we are cool and damage our livers!!!!!!!!!! ya these frekin kitties that have been on alot more cruises than i have dont know what they're talking about ahhhh mannnn gimme sum drinks!!!!!"

dude its pointless to drik a little bit because its just a waste of money and doesent do anything. if you havrnt alleady notices all the drunk kids just get laffed at and walk around with themselves doing stupid things. if you havent notices after you drink you get real sick..... if you notices that the sober guys get all the ladies because there not pissing there pants and barfing allover them. dude i may be a "youngster" but if i see a chick that i like with a drunk ill have her soo fast its not funny, and i will for the rest of the cruise because im not barfing my guts out and then trying to makeout with them haha dude just its pointless. if it takes a drink to make u feel good ur a low life anyway

and if its a social thing then..... haha i hope ur with sum fine ladies haha

no one says you have to get completely screwed up, i never throw up or even get hangovers, its all about just having fun, its not always about getting the girl it can be just chilling

ever played kings? its a good fucking time, **** gets to be hilarious its all about having a good time not about being the cool kids who got alcohol

no one said it takes a drink to make you feel good, its just a 'good' night can go to a party, no ones an alcoholic lol

and its not expensive its dirt cheap on the islands, where its also quasi-legal
